Hey trance/dance lovers -

Here's a new album from DJ Insane (Holland) and The G-Man (USA) on the aggressive indie label, Delvian Records.

If you have ever DJ'd, gone to a rave, or powered down some Red Bull to keep dancing, this album is for you!

If you seek the bouncebeat bliss of hard-club super-sonics, this album was made with your mind in mind.

The two artists have never met. Marcel (Mr. Insane to you) created the "thump-for-your-rump" tracks at his studio in the Netherlands. He then sent them to Scott (he who be G) in Los Angeles for slicing, dicing, layering, dubbing, and mixing.

Finally, everything was run through the monster dual analog/digital gear of Art Sayecki (www.artmastering.com) for maximum aural pleasure.

"Trans Addiction" is one of the songs you can play on this site. Enjoy it, why don't you?!

Play it loud and play it proud.

Did you know:

* "Unchained Melody" was written 19 years before it was first recorded, but then received an Oscar nomination and hit the charts 4 times by 4 different artists in 1 year. (And the Righteous Brothers hit the top of the charts with it 3 times.)

* One of the most-requested love songs, "I Will Always Love You," is not a love song at all, but Dolly Parton's gentle farewell to her former writing partner, Porter Wagoner.

* One famous love song has been recorded by nearly 700 artists.

* "Cherish" is often played at wedding receptions, yet is actually a song about unrequited love.

* An instantly recognized love song from 1971 was written 14 years earlier and has been recorded by artists as varied as Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Celine Dion, Mel Torme, Isaac Hayes, George Michael, and Roberta Flack.

For a few moments late one Saturday night, I was on the giant Time magazine billboard in Times Square, New York.

Here is a terrific article on an alternative way to get your music heard: "Radio commercials put electronic music from The G-Man on talk, news and country stations." The text and photos are available here: http://www.send2press.com/PRnetwire/pr04_120601-gman.shtml The story also made it on the Yahoo News, Hoover's Financial, and Google Finance sites, so a lot of biz folks are reading about this. If you read the article (it's a brief 328-words), let me know what you think!

My 3rd album, "The Platinum Age of the Remix," is the unanimous choice winner as Trance Album of the Year at the Los Angeles Music Awards. It is distributed by Delvian Records and is available on iTunes. Remixers of twelve of my songs were: * Matt Forger (recording engineer on 7 Michael Jackson albums) * F. Troy (member of Mortal Loom and co-creator of the "Blade" remixes with Mark Isham) * DJ Insane (who took a remix of one of my songs to No. 5 in Europe) * RD (who took a remix of one of my songs to No. 1 in Russia) * William Morosi (classically-trained jazz artist with an album out in Japan)

This is one of those "I did it all" announcements -- I worked on a Goodrich radio commercial where I did the following:

* Voiceover
* Producer
* Music Composer
* Mixer

If it doesn't sound good, I think we'll know who to blame (the ad agency account executive, of course!)

* "Platinum Age of the Remix" album of remixes of G-Man songs has climbed to number 26 on the Masspool DJ Dance Chart (August, 2004). And, since Britney Spears is at number 27, my girlfriend said, "Hey, you're on top of Britney!"

I was fortunate to be selected as the voiceover talent for 4 Verizon Wireless radio commercials, was able to produce and mix the sessions in my studio, and had my music used in all of the spots. Now that was a cool day! You can read the entire story here: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2004/8/prweb146649.htm
