Drunk Robb & The Shots are about a lot of things but surprisingly, given their name, the temperance movement isn't one of them. That doesn't hold them back as someone actually went down my street and wrote one of their songs, "Fed Hill," on several front doors including mine. Pundits like to think a band building momentum is about getting myspace friends but that pales in comparison to having obsessive fans with Sharpies canvassing neighborhoods in my book. The song "Fed Hill" is also notable because it's the only song to borrow the intro riff to "Eye of the Tiger" in recent memory.  As for a sonic comparison, think early Clash meets Black Flag at an Outward Bound campfire that degenerates into a keg party.  There are echoes of some of Drunk Robb's previous bands like The USM and Murphy's Law but really it is just good punk rock drinking music.

I really dont know what's happening after november 4 i really dont ...we need to shit or get off the pot , im tired of people looking to me for all the fuckin answers too .. I dont have them ,im also sick of people thing im thier fuckin booking agent .im not thats that ..i dont even know how to book my own band and im goddamm sure not going to insult the people who do this shit every day ...maybe im just sick of the shit and needc  some time off i dont know maybe im fustrated in knowing that this will be a band stuck on the east coast ,unless like a good weekend worrior can use my allotted vacation time to try and put on a fake ass tour ....maybe i should just shut the fuck up ...im just fed up .. igot no fight left in me just "the hate " this machine deffanately has been runnin on hate  as of late ....

 i feel penned up and i feel like people should put up or shut up ....do or die time sorry folks but thats all i got right now ..see ya at the next few shows ....i promise no more cancellations ......promise
