How I see it, electability is a fraud used to get you behind a certian individual or party to sway how Americans will vote.

When talking about "electability" it seems everyone uses the words "Well he can win." They use this to make you feel left out if you don't join the pack.
Here's the rebuttal I used against electability:

"You don't know the voting history of every American, you don't know who they are, or anything about them, so how can you tell me Americans as a whole are pre-disposed to vote a certain way according to a small minority represented in polls? Or from what you hear on television, so how can you tell me anyone is electable, before the election?"

Let us see who has been electable over the years:

George W. Bush was electable.

Adolf Hitler was electable.

Must I go on?

Electability isn't always a good thing. Elections seem like High School drama when the word electability comes up. I say; Don't ever sacrifice your voice to "fit in." That's all electability comes down to, you sacrificing your voice to jump on a bandwagon. If someone doesn't completely and totally share your views, at least 90% of them, don't vote for that candidate, find a new one, research.

Don't ever sacrifice your vote to fit in.

National Calling program for the Ted Terbolizard Congressional campaign.

Ted Terbo needs your help in the next few days. About a third of his district votes by absentee ballots that are mailed out on the 5th and a large percentage of these are cast and sent in immediately. If you have free anytime minutes or an unlimited calling plan and are willing to help get another freedom candidate into the House (Congress), please visit his site and get a script and read through the additional information. The script is fairly open as to what you say, so become a little familiar with the candidate. Then download a batch of names and numbers to call. Each batch is of 50 and you can get up to 8 lists per day.

This is crunch time for his campaign, so please help get Dr. Paul some help in the House to support our issues.

Finally, please send this message to other groups that might be willing to help in the effort.

I was featured in this video that even Ron Paul himself talked about. My myspace is the first friend on the top list. I'm having problems with myspace, but add me if you like.

"I'm thinking about Ron Paul" as a running mate, Kucinich told a crowd of about 70 supporters at a house party here, one of numerous stops throughout New Hampshire over the Thanksgiving weekend. A Kucinich-Paul administration could bring people together "to balance the energies in this country," Kucinich said.

Liberty Candidate Highlight - Theodore Terbolizard

TERBOcongress.orgRunning for California's 4th Congressional District for the House of Representatives is Theodore Terbolizard.

As I read through his website it is clear that he is imbued with a vision of hope in a world where people, not governments, form the basis for peaceful resolution of issues.

Echoing the vision of the Founders on commerce with all, alliances with none we see a focus on social networking. Through commerce and social interaction, people come to know each other, learn about each other and gain respect for each other.

He exhibits an understanding of the power of social networking websites. This naturally occurring relationship is a much more productive forum than that of government regulated association.

"As an artist who has worked intimately with technology" he desires to become a member of the Committee on Science and Technology. He makes note of the distinction in Article 1, Section 8, Clause 8 of the Constitution where it says that "The Congress shall have Power… To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts…" where he says, "It is important to note the use of the word 'promote' instead of 'provide' in this part of the Constitution concerning the progress of science."

Along with Dean Santoro, another liberty candidate running for Florida's US House District 21, he produces a half hour weekly podcast titled Congressional Coast to Coast which is hosted on RonPaulRadio.net.

Lovers of liberty in California's 4th District will find a compatriot in Theodore Terbolizard.

DEAN SANTORO (R-FL)

My name is Dean Santoro and I am running for United States House of Representative in District 18 of South Florida.

I began my professional career 20 years ago in the trenches of corporate America. Simultaneously, I taught students of all ages as an adjunct professor in the evenings for more than a decade. I've owned businesses and worked diligently at the America dream. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Masters Degree in Business. I am the epitome of a hard-working American citizen.

So I understand your frustration because I live it too.

I've decided to run for office to affect positive change for everyone in District 18, all of South Florida and the country. A vote for me is a vote for the return of government accountability and the requirement that your representative truly represents the best interests of the people, their constituency and the human race.

I'm an avid believer in the rule of law and I strongly advocate a return to the Constitutional values that gave birth to our nation. Let's make the United States the Land of Opportunity again!

Special interest organizations dominate our government in a way that is unprecedented in the history of our country. The middle class is evaporating before our eyes and the divide between the "haves" and "have-not's" is growing at an alarming rate. Inflation is out of control and our future financial survival is at stake. We must reverse this course before it's too late.  District 18 needs a representative who will answer to the people first, not the wealthy aristocracy and the failed policies of the Bush Administration.

The incumbent in this race, neocon and ardent Bush supporter Ileana Ros-Lehtinen has held the District 18 seat since 1989. It has been postulated that long terms in office tend to obligate office holders to special interests. The voting record of the incumbent clearly showcases this in her across the board support of the neoconservative agenda regardless of the detrimental effect on District voters. South Florida and District 18 is ready for new leadership in Congress, and I am the right individual for the job.

In the coming months leading up to the election, I'll be sharing my ideas about how we can return the government to the people, where it belongs. I stand firmly behind Ron Paul for President and I will work hard to uphold the Constitution and restore our respectability around the world.

It is my sincere hope you will put your trust and faith in me come November of 2008 and vote Santoro for United States House of Representative in District 18 of South Florida. Thank you and God Bless.
