Last night was great I got into Will-I-Ams Worlds of Fire art show in downtown Los angeles. got there around 7:30pm after two splifs I was ready to see some mind blowing art styles. when I walked in I was immediatly suffocated by wall to wall art paparazzi (the cool one's) I went to the open bar provided by Veev the world's first acai vodka and felt minaturized by the gigantic Futura 2000 piece spray painted on the concrete walls of the store front loft.Kris Lewis,Justin Giarla,Chris Pugliese,David Stoupakis,Gary Baseman,Greg Gossel,Heidi Taillefer,Hellen Garber,Ian jhonson,Jeremy Lipking,Joseph  Todorovitch,Joshua Petker,Matthew Bone,MBW,Christian Colin,Mike Maxwell, Nabil Elderkin,Nitalia Fabia,Paul Chatem, Ron English,Sas Christian,Shawn barber Travis Luie,Van Arno all showcased extreme talent pieces went from $5,000 to $15,000 US currency. Oil paintings of Alicia Keys, Snoop Dogg, Thom York, Beyonce were a must see DJ's Joshua & WillIam rocked live sets. There were many big names in the Loft fellow san Diegan Travis Barker (Blink 182),raidoheads,Beck. Special thanks to the heads at GEN ART GRASSROOTS DipDive Will-I-iam and mostly the cat that did the Jay Z piece out of 30 broken records a must see 13th century NAS painting was illmatic next year I win all the grammys.After my 7th drink I was redy to go right now!

The Show at UCSLA was Organic technology after 40 of rocking shows world wide Ethiopian virtuoso Mulatu Astake killed LA actual Kill a crowd of the who's who in Los Angeles I didn't even know I was sitting next to international artisin Kofie a long time fried of mine from time to time I would up jump the boggie because everyone was sitting or doing a paralized dance in thier chairs lol. I was crazy started with ill dj sets by Ston Throws Egon,Quantic& Cut Chemist who used one turntable a mixer and a foot pedal to loop/trigger sounds which was crazy as fuck. This show was powered by a gifted and powerfull human being Brian B+ Cross trip to ethiopia sideshow that asentuated the digital vibraphone and purcussion of Malatu Astatke Solos by Migule Atwood-Ferguson (viola)and Bennie Maupin (bass clarinet,flute,soprano sax) stole the show. I ran in to all of the myspace friends I actually know lol. Saul Williams, Gaslamp Killer,MHE,Phsycopop (Skrapez),Flying Lotus all in the house. what a show I ran intoa cat at the artshow that saw me at CSULA small world as the late grate Robin Harris would say. Is the San Diego music awards for the best or suckiest band in SD? i never understood the method. I remember known emcees never got nominated.
