We just put up another song from the new album.  Check it out.  Let us know what you think.  We'll put up the good one when the album actually drops, but for now, here's the one that the yokels at Red Scare seem to like so much.

Also, if you can't wait to get your hands on it, you can pre-order American Rubicon now at

Interpunk.com

Enjoy!

Hey ya'll!
We've finally finished our new album entitled "American Rubicon".  We have a digital release date set for July 7th and the CD will be released in stores July 14th with help from our good friends at Red Scare.  We are really proud of the new material and we hope you like it as well.

To give you a taste of the new goods we've posted the 6th track from the album called,"H.D.U.I. (Honorary Discharge Under The Influence)".  The song was inspired by the true story of an Iraq War Veteran who approached me while I was working for the ACLU on the streets on San Francisco.  As a Marine, he felt he had been used in the invasion of Iraq with no other purpose than to take control of the country's oil.  One day he decided that he had had enough, so he got a little drunk and did some donuts in the dunes until he was pulled over and charged with Driving Under the Influence.  He received an Honorary Discharge.  He did not have to return for a third tour and he was allowed to keep his G.I. bill, which was the main reason why he and many other young people join the military in these uncertain economic times.

We hope you enjoy!

Hey Friends!
Just a quick announcement that we will be heading to Chicago to record our next album "American Rubicon". We will also be playing a few shows starting Tuesday on our way out and back and we'll be playing a lot of the new material.

If you feel like you haven't seen much of us or heard from us lately it's because I have been sort of a hermit over the past couple months, but ended up writing 20 songs, 16 of which will be on the album. Chad, Adam and I have been practicing for them for the past few weeks and things are sounding pretty good! We are really excited to work with Matt Alison at Atlas Studios on this album and look forward to hanging out with our friends from Red Scare at the Gingerman.
See you there!

We are yet again stoked to announce that we have done a split 7" record with our friends Andrew Jackson Jihad from Phoenix, AZ.

We did a cover of Bob Dylan's "Subterranean Homesick Blues" and AJJ did an amazing version of Neutral Milk Hotel's "Two Headed Boy".

The record is the 6th in a series called "Under The Influence" put out by the good fellows at Suburban Home in Denver, CO. You can expect this to come out in a couple different colors for all you vinyl nerds! Hooray!

Check out our song, then go check out AJJ's song and then look forward to a pre-order for this puppy at

Hi all!

Cobra Skulls will be recording a new full length at the end of March and the beginning of April.  We are über stoked to announce that we will be laying down the tracks with none other than the Matt Allison at Atlas Studios in Chi-Tizzle! The record will be out sometime this summer!  Yea!

Look for a couple shows here and there this spring and then come summer we'll be back on the road full time touring the States and Europe!  We'll keep you posted on the specifics.

Also our merch is back up just in time for the economic resurgence. Time for a new credit card!

Happy 2009!!!
Year of the Cobra, right?

Hey ya'll,
We had a blast playing the Fest and we're continuing up the East Coast starting today and setting it off in Atlanta, GA (thanks to Davey from Tlitwheel for throwing us on the bill last minute). However, we'll be touring on our own and playing with friends and various bands all over on our way back to the West Coast. Check out the dates on this page and if you live in the Midwest check back in a week or so as we are still working on a few more dates in that part of the country.

Okay, so we have a few updates.... First and foremost, the Never Be A Machine 7 inch is now actually, finally available as, yes, a physical 7 inch record. It's not just a download code anymore people! Imagine that! It might find its way into a store near you, but if you don't have that option we suggest checking interpunk.com – here's the link:

We pressed white and black vinyl and to set it off we have put up our favorite track "Lost In Campaigns" on this page for y'all to enjoy.

In other news, while the country slides into an economic coma, Adam, Chad, and yours truly are getting the hell out! At the moment we are sitting in Ft. Lauderdale International Airport scanning magazine covers bearing Megan Fox, and waiting to board our flight to Frankfurt, Germany. We'll be gone for a little over three weeks touring the European countryside with our friends at Gunner Records.

Also, we just had an awesome time on tour with Fake Problems, Frank Turner and Look Mexico and we'd like to thank everyone who gave us a place to stay and filled our bellies with delicious food to keep us going.

Well, ya'll take care now and we'll see you at the Fest when we get back!

Modo atual:  vadio

Over the past three years I have had an unbelievable time playing with Cobra Skulls but unfortunately it has come to an end. I have decided to pursue other interests in life and will no longer be rocking with the Cobras. I would like to thank all the people who supported us, came to our shows, let us stay at their house, bands we played with and everyone else who made this experience so much fun. I wish you guys the best of luck and know your next tour is going to be awesome. A special thanks to Toby for his support and belief in Cobra Skulls. I'll miss all of you.

Goodbye,

Chuck

Hey Folks!
Many people have been writing us asking how to get some merchandise over the past few months. Well you can get it here and now at this page only (unless you can make it to a show). This merch will be up temporarily and that's not a sales pitch. We are going to be on tour again soon and for a long while, so when we are in Europe this October the merch. page will be down again. That said....

If you want Cobra Skulls to play in your town this fall (Especially anywhere on the East Coast) please write us at our email - cobraskulls@gmail.com.

We have moved into the van and we are going to be kris kristophersoncrossing the U.S until the new year. If you have a basement, garage, hall, bar, or other type of venue that would like to have us play please let us know and Cobra Skulls could be there. Of course all ages venues that don't discriminate against the youth are much preferred.

Please do not write us here at myspace. It is a lot harder to keep track of contacts here, flipping through pages and pages of booking inquiries interspersed with random questions, comments, etc. and waiting for the next page to load all the advertisements can be really time consuming. We have really been amazed by all the support we have received from you all so far and we look forward to seeing you at our shows in the future.
CHEERS!
