OF course no one in Victoria has seen Underbelly yet. Luckily the music in the TV hit hasn't banned. Refresingly, everything on this soundtrack has been chosen for musical not corporate reasons. They range from upcoming indie local heroes (Little Red, the funky Paper Scissors) to Nick Cave doing the Seekers' The Carnival is Over. The Panics' Don't Fight It was always a soundtrack hit waiting to happen, and Melbourne electroduo Winterpark make their mark with the gorgeous One Night Alone. Wx-Falling Joy Suzie Higgie's 12 Gates to the City is an unearthed gem that stands out and how good is it to have GOD's 1988 Melbourne indie classic My Pal on CD.

In a word: inspired CA
