Hello All: Here are your newly elected Chapter Officers:

President: Kim "kid" Moen

Vice President: Bobby Zinn

Legislative Coordinator: Mark "Radar" Mitchell

Secretary: Wendi "Lil' Bear" Walker

Treasurer: Tom "Yogi" Traver

We are all looking forward to taking office in the new year...we are open to new ideas for rides events, etc....but are also looking for an increase in meeting attendance and participation in events and rides as well. Any Chapter is only as "active" and fun and outgoing as it's members make it!!  We are, as new officers, all attending the L&L Seminar in Jan. Our next upcoming event is our Chapter Christmas Party which is Sat. December 5th at The Bierhaus @ 6p.m.....covered dishes are welcome!!!  There should be no more "i didn't know what was scheduled or going on" excuses from members from here on out as everyone does NOT have a computer or internet access....you all DO have a mailing address and as new secretary i will be frequently filling your mailboxes...with event fliers, updates, goings on etc by way of a Chapter "newsletter" :) This way all the information is available to ALL members which will hopefully increase meeting attendance and participation in events.
At today's (Nov 7th Sat ) meeting for elections we also gained a new member...Dave Phillips...he is a transfer from Ridge Runners....please welcome him!!!   Fliers for the Christmas Party to be mailed out this week!!!

50/50 Drawing winner was Dave Berrier

Dollar Jar winner was not present so $65.00 is carried over to next meeting....Please Come to Meetings and SUPPORT our Chapter!!!

Nominatons for new Officers are as follows:

President: Kim "Kid" Moen
Vice President: Bobby Zinn
Legislative Coordinator: Mark "Radar" Mitchell
Treasurer: Tom "Yogi" Traver
Secretary:Wendi "Lil' Bear" Walker

(i will continue to be the webmaster as well...we are looking at buying an actual "domain" for a more cleancut professional website for our chapter as domains are now very inexpensive)

As an active member of the Chapter, with what i feel is a lot to lose sentimentally if this Chapter were to fold, (my Uncle Grizz was a very active well known member to many of you)....i would hope that things would pick up for us as a chapter....meeting attendance is scarce...as is participation in rides, events etc...everyone shows up for the big parties such as Christmas, Winter Blues, and Grizz/Fallen biker memorial....where is the active participation?? hopefully with some determination we can keep the chapter alive and going....for those of you who have continued to be active and supportive members...a HUGE thank you....you are the members who keep our Chapter active!

Meeting Attendance was very poor...we have 100 some members on paper ????  Treasurer was absent.....

The Grizz Memorial has been set for Sat. Oct. 10th @ 4p.m. @ The Bierhaus....there was a signup sheet for covered dishes. The Chicken will be provided. Having a band for this event was discussed and everyone agreed they would like to have one but no monetary expenditure amt was set as there was no treasurer present and meeting attendance was very few.

Also on Sat. Oct 10th is the next road cleanup at 1p.m....PLEASE come help with cleanup then join us for the Grizz / Fallen Biker Memorial @ the Bierhaus.

Attendance at meetings and functions is steadily DECREASING!!! this is YOUR chapter....your input, attendance and participation is what keeps the chapter alive and going.
Upcoming Events:

Sept. 26 th is The Ride To Gettysburg

Oct 3rd is the next meeting

Oct 10th: Road Cleanup at 1 p.m followed by the Grizz / Fallen Bikers Memorial @ The Bierhaus @ 4p.m. please call Patti Zinn to add your covered dish to the list or add it at the next meeting.

Request from Crawford County Chapter
Our junior members are collecting gently used towels to donate to the Humane Society. They are taking a tour of the facility in February. Our Den Mother, Tammy Brooks, asked that I email you to see if you would send out an email asking anyone that is going to the L&L to bring any towels that they would like to donate. I would be collecting them there. The juniors are trying to collect 100 towels and they have 40 right now.
ps. I swear that I won't take any hotel towels, but I will ask the hotel if they would like to donate any. :-)
Thanks,
JoAnne
