Greetings from your pals in Endive,
Its been six weeks and although our backs are a little sore and we're starved for some sleep, our summer tour was great success. We've met so many new and awesome people on the road and even got to catch up with some old friends. We'd like to thank anyone that helped us out with shows, let us crash on their floor or came out and rocked along with us. If you were wondering what shenanigans went on, check out www.EndiveNation.com. All of the dates on tour were recapped in our blog. If you see something that you like, feel free to leave us a comment.
For those of you that are wondering what's next, we're going to be hanging around the Syracuse area for a little bit while Booch finishes up his college career at Syracuse University. We've worked out a schedule with the staff at Bull and Bear Pub (Syracuse, NY) and will be playing there once a month until New Years. Also, we'll be playing everything from community centers to house parties as regularly as possible. Keep an eye on MySpace.com/Endive and come party with us!
For those of you who are around the Buffalo area and are fans of the band Catch 22, we are playing one of the opening slots when they come to Club Infinity (Buffalo, NY) on August 30th. We have will call tickets for sale ($10) at www.cdfreedom.com/Endive. The show is going to be huge. You should get your tickets soon before they run out.
We have a couple of new ways for everyone to keep in touch with us. Endive is now a member of the Twitter network. Twitter is a website that lets you keep in touch with what your friends are doing in real time. For more details go to www.twitter.com and then check out www.twitter.com/Endive. Also, even though tour is over, we're going to keep the blogs coming on www.endivenation.com (although probably not every day, but we'll do what we can). As always, you can get ahold of us through our MySpace (www.myspace.com/Endive) or by replying to this E-mail.
Thanks to all our friends and family who have supported us this far and to everyone who came out on tour!
Cheers, Endive

Hey there everyone. I hope all is well as October is now beginning, the leaves are changing here in New York, and the same can be said for your boys in Endive.
After over a decade with all forms the group has developed from, Tony Kent and Endive has decided to split ways due to irreconcilable differences. We here in Endive hope for the best with Tony as he is rocking a new job at The Haunt in Ithaca, NY, so go say "hey!" and buy him a pint.
With changes comes new beginnings, and we are excited with what the future has in store for us. We have been writing for our next album down the road... so be looking for new tunes coming your way shortly!
Also, we are trying to book a bunch of shows so we can come out and see as many of our fans and friends as possible, so if you want to see us play where you live... demand it and we'll try and set up a show!
If your in the Elmira, NY area come check us out at The Amp on October 12th. It's a Ska Show?!? Going to be awesome show, Locale is releasing their CD with EDP and Dead Army there to rock out also.
COMING BACK TO FREDONIA! On October 19th we're playing at Valentines with our local buddies Ghost of a Stranger. Crazy drink specials including $2 Guinness... yes, that is not a type o.
Wow this was a long one! Please come check us out and hang, we love company. Listen to some tunes and message us! We love hearing from everyone!

Current mood: excited
I am sure everyone is just DYING to know whats going on with the band. Well here is what's up:
We toured at the beginning of this Summer. We went out as far as Cincinnati and Detroit, and as far east as Portland Maine and Boston.
What do we think? Lake Erie is exactly the same in Michigan/Ohio as it is in Buffalo, some of the kids in Detroit seemed like they were on crack. Although for being underage they all loved us. Too bad they only paid us $4 dollars. Yeah thats right, $4 dollars! In Cincinatti they were shocked when we ordered beers at 2 oclock in the afternoon. The bartender could not believe that we drink Wild Turkey 101 without a chaser.
In Buffalo we hung with Razbari Sumthing and our dear friends The Scurvy Knaves. Really going to miss both those bands! In Portland Maine I had the best Lobster I have ever eaten in my life. After Rochester NY I got shot in the head with a beebee gun and had to wear a bandaid for the rest of tour.
After Manchester Conneticut we decided to leave CT at midnight, drive straight to NYC and go drinking. By 2:15am we parked in upper manhattan, by 2:19am we had free shots at an upscale martini club. We of course were in hoodies, knee high socks, and chuck taylors.
We walked around NYC until the same came up. We ran around and played in Central park until Jami jumped off a rock and rolled his ankle. We put Jami in a cab, him and I slept in the van for a few hours, the rest of the gang went and held up Endive banners during a taping of "The Early Show" at like 6am. The guys came back and we drove over into New Jersey to our friend Lunchbox and Steveos house.
In New Jersey the only people at the club were Lunchbox, Steveo, and his girlfriend Greta. Three words: "Worst...Club...Ever..." We started up the set with a Bon Jovi song. The sound guy and bouncer didn't think it was that funny...
hail hail rock and roll!
And THAT was tour...
So what else is up?
We are currently reving up for Fall dates. We have tentative dates in Ithaca, Fredonia booked, and are playing at Potsdam Friday August 31st. Alfred, were definitely coming to rock your faces off too, so dont worry!
We are going down to Florida for christmas break so make sure you see us this Fall. Chances are we already have plans to come to your college, but if we don't yet let us know so we can book it!
We are also putting together new merchandise. Ringer T Shirts and Hoodies for the Fall. Both will be available online, as well as at our shows. And of course both will be available for purchase by credit card.
We still have some copies of our new disc, "Retox, Benders, and Other Short Stories available. You can get it right off our myspace site.
Hope all is well,
see you all soon!
cheers!
-Endive
