The misuse of the word funky.
"This kitchen looks stylish and funky."
If it smells that bad open the patio doors.
"That handbag has a funky retro look."
For godsake what the hell are you carrying in it.

The correct use of the word funky.
"If you can describe it, it ain't funky"-Prince.
"Get the funk out my face"-Brothers Johnson.
OK it's a small thing (titter ye not) but it's still annoying.
