SOMERVILLE, MA - February 15, 2005 - Not only will the crowd at Sally O'Briens' "Will Joke for Food" catch a night of Boston's hungriest comedy, but one table will even win a round of drinks, that is, if they're the loudest laughers.
Each Monday night, the show will play host to two contests: While the comics battle on stage for a free plate of chicken wings, the audience will compete to decide the best laughers. The night's featured comics will choose the winning table.
Meanwhile, Boston's most acclaimed up-and-coming comics will be lured in with the promise of a plate of chicken wings for the performer judged as the funniest by the audience.
"Will Joke for Food" debuts on Monday, March 6, at 7:30 PM at Sally O'Brien's in the heart of Union Square, 335 Somerville Ave., Somerville. Admission is free.
