OMG WOW! That's all I can say. This game had it all but the happy ending a die hard 'Wings fan could ask for. 34 seconds till the cup and then to tie after pulling your goalie.....this is the stuff of legend. If you measure greatness by the skill of your competition then both teams are truly awesome! Give the Pens their due and much respect. That was the best game I have ever watched as it happened. Crazy tension and thrills. Those ticket holders at Joe Louis really got their monies worth!! Even though Lord Stanley didn't make an appearance to say you were there decades from now will be a great priveledge.

Now that being said Penguins taste like chicken....roast 'em for me boys!!!

The Speed Racer movie was very good! I was impressed that they kept with most of the early anime campyness without taking it too over the top. The action sequences were great! I have to see it again, this time it has to be IMAX. This is one of the must see movies to be in a theater and IMAX if possible. I really hope they spin off RacerX because that would be great! Very pleased with it. Makes me want to play the Speed Racer game RIGHT NOW!! Bring on the sequels.....PLEASE!

Well I took some more time to think about it. I must really have liked the movie, either that or I'm just tired of fighting the war against ruined characters. I can see watching it again or even 3 times. Now the thoughts that swirl in my head are concerning the Avengers initiative. What might they do in the sequel and spinoffs? It seems at this point that some thought could have been put into a FRANCHISE instead of the puppy mill that they made X-Men to be. I really hope that is the case. The industry really needs something to be a foundation after the travesty of the Star Wars 'prequels'.
That being said maybe I should write some terrible screen adaptation of a character, get a yes man crew, and cash in for a half million dollars. Everybody is doing it. Quick cash is the plan. Yep, I must just be getting tired of the fight. Losing the taste for Ramen noodles. Being a nobody is worse than being known for weak production right?
Production is the real key I guess. Get it out there and let them swing at your pinata.  If I were to be more honest a good wipeout has been as entertaining as a homerun for me.

Enough prattling for now!

Well I went to see Iron Man tonight. I had serious questions about Robert Downey Jr. being Tony Stark. He did add a bit of levity and wit to what could easily have been a very dark film. I didn't hate it for sure. I will have to think about it more before I post too much. Being a fan of the 80's and early 90's era marvel comics my opinions are a bit biased. One of the best movie adaptions of a Marvel product so far. I will post some more later.

Well I am exploring this medium again. It was about 2 years ago since I was in it before. Boy has it come a long way. The capabilites are much more expansive now and only growing. I must give more thought to leveraging it. Check out the possibilities at secondlife.com. You can get a free account and explore pretty much forever without having to pay. In fact they pay you (in world dollars) just for being in and looking around each week. Very overwhelming and I definately need to make a plan. Damn near had panic attacks on 3 seperate occasions and I was only watching the tutorials! All the help out on You Tube make a huge difference over the last time I visited! So much to learn and do. There is everything in the real world and much more within the boundaries of this 'Matrix'. Gotta find my place in it all. My prediction is that this will be completely crossed over into all media in the next 5 years. It is already breaking onto the Iphone. Remember what it was like when you first heard someone talk about Google? Same deal in my opinion. Very cool!! Drop me a note with your Avatars name and we can cruise the clubs together!

Well I have been playing with EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) a bit more seriously the last few weeks and am pleasantly surprised. You can check out some of the videos linked on my page or go to http://www.emofree.com to check it out. I am managing pain and freeing myself from some emotional issues. I have become so used to feeling the pain in some instances that it is 'background noise'. I am looking forward to putting this regained energy into more constructive uses! The experimentation will continue and more experiences will be detailed. If you have any such experiences you would like to share please feel free to drop me a line. Life is about learning and this little gem of technology will make quite the difference in your life in my opinion.

Party on!
