I just had the weirdest dream you guys.
Sooooooo...
For whatever reason
I was back at the painting festival with Alex and we were like just messing around my painting and THEN we went to the corner store and bought three strawberry yogurts and like a bunch of other foods....
And we drove in his car?
Which he doesn't have?

And drove to a house that so totally wasn't Harrison's
Yet it was his
and we went in
and he was on the floor by the door and there was a wall that was covered by this nicely waxed wood...
and like...the carpet was brown and ugly... and short....
lHe looked like he did in 9th grade >_>
All chubby and cute with shortish hair.

And I was like
'Haaaaarrisoooon...'
Like I always do when greeting him.
And i whipped out this plastic plate I got from the painting fest?
And it had 'Happy Birfdae Harrison!!! 8D' written on it in like...crappy pastel

And he was like 'omg Vivian how'd you get here? XD I wasn't expecting you until later.'
And Alex was like 'sh *all cool and stuff* I drove of course o;'
And then Harrison was like 'well I'm working on this piece.' and we looked and he was working on something but I don't remember what obviously
And then... Harrison is like '...IS THAT STRAWBERRY YOGURT?!11??!!?
and I'm like 'yup O:'
and he's like 'O:'
and then I'm like 'Hey I'll feed it to you.'
so
I fed him strawberry yogurt
and he totally like
did a random appearance change
and looked like his this year self again
And yeah
I fed him yogurt and like for whatever reason the hunks of strawberry were like really vivid and macro >_> cuz I was And we were giggling and then my mom came in and I woke up O:
and that was ten minutes ago

I told my friend about it and she was like...

I went with taylor at first to get to the bookstore then met up with clay and helped him study for sat... then out of nowhere theres like five freshman visual majors dragging me away for halp with artz. Basically I showed them my oldoldoldold sketchbook from beginning of 8th grade and they were like 'JESUSAMARGARITA TEACH ME PLZ HOT YAOI SEKRTZ' and then I broke out the pc mac yaoi and... well... I have fans now D: Also a guy said 'you' were really hot in my drawing XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD one of the visual kids XD
he was like 'Fucking SEX' and I was like 'uhwhere?' and he pointed to 'you' XD

Then Luke and Ryan and Danny and Keenan came and we sat under the table talking about absolutely nothing. I had the privelidge of on laying on ryans lap because we're bffs since ever D: (any lap is nice BELIEVE IT D and then keenan left and we moved and luke played with my hair (he always does when we're together...being gay and all) XD and then we went to la salsa and it was amazing and found keenan+ company and went to publix for who knows what and left with a big container of organic chocolate milk, Watermelon, and a pack of a zillion styrofoam cups and went to sit at my emo spot and drank it. XDD Then we walked alllllllthewayyyy to the playground by clematis and messed around on the childrens climbing devices. Stories were told and confessions made XD
and then lukes father picked luke and I and brought me home and it was fun XD (it was like 8:30 when we left)

Also... totally random but... fuck having friends like them is amazing XD

Okay, I'll have to be honest... I never knew much about other than the

fact that he wrote 'The Grapes of Wrath', 'Of Mice and Men', and 'Tortilla

Flat.' So far the most interesting thing I've discovered about him is that

his name could have been Großsteinbeck which is pretty awesome...

Grosssteinbeck is how you would say it. Sort of like 'Du bist SO HEIß!!!'

Which literally translates to 'You are SO HOT!!!!(temperature)'
According to wikipedia, which could be completely false but I trust it

enough considering the other information I've gotten from it... he won the

nobel prize for literature in 1962 which is a pretty awesome achievement.

Apparently he couldn't keep a solid marriage for too long he was married

three times in his life. That's horrible. HORRIBLE. He divorced his first

wife in 1943 and not even a year later married some Gwyn Conger lady

and had two sons, one of which he called Catbird? He divorced that one

and two years later married Elaine Scott and eventually died in 1968.

What a shame.
He was friends with Ed Ricketts who apparently helped him alot while he

was still working on his books. They also spent time together outside of

the confines of the writing room! Steinbeck loved Ricketts so much that

he based his character 'Doc' from 'Cannery Row' and 'Sweet Thursday'.

That's dedication!
Completely skipping a good portion of his life, in 1964 Steinbeck was

awarded the US Medal of Freedom by President Johnson.
He was so extreme that the year before he died he went to Vietnam to

report on the war. His sons were in the army as well and he was allowed

to visit them and even man a machine gun post while his son and the

other members slept.
I'd say he was a pretty daring old man. It's a shame that a year later he

died (December 20, 1968) apparently from a heart attack.

I was going there to buy Silent Hill 4 and I also picked up Clock Tower 3 and took them to the counter and the guy was like 'Ah Silent Hill good choice.' and I was like 'Psh it scares the crap out of me.' and he was like 'OHAY YOU PLAYED 2?' except not so enthusiastic but pretty close and I was like 'Ehno any good?' and he was like 'Hell yes. It's like ten times scarier and ultra awesome. Let me check if we have it.' so yeah he had it and I put back Clock Tower 3 and we were talking about the Wii and the Ps3 and the advantages and disadvantages (mind you he's kinda cute :C ) and he's like what school do you go to? so I told him Dreyfoos and he was like 'WELL I'M SORRY MS. ARTSY FARTSY PANTS >O and I was like '*points to sketchbook* DUH D:'

we talked for a really long time and eventually I caled Maddi and we were going crazzzzy xD
