EDITED! The gig's on Friday, not Saturday apparently.
And guess what? I just got off the phone with Satan and he says there is now, officially, no room left in Hell. Which means we're greenlighted for the reunion show:
Devil and Casey Jones LIVE! Friday 6th November, 8.30pm The Red Lion, Warstone Lane, Birmingham
Entry is £3 and we're giving away free copies of the last album we recorded before I skipped town - Devil and Casey Jones Rule Intensive Care. Oh, I mean, it's already free for download, but it should have a cover this time.
It will be awesome, and you can come and laugh at my social disfunction since living in Japan for two years means I just bow at everyone now.
Alex.

There are almost always 'doingses' going on with us. Do you know us? Know us well? Then there's almost certainly a special present with your name on it coming within the next couple of weeks. Whether you know us or not there should be another CD to buy within a month or so. Whether you care or not there should be an album created within the next six months that will remove your face. In July I would strongly recommend coming to two gigs, July 12th at the Actress & July 29th at the Jug. We're playing both with friends, bands that we genuinely like (musically and personally). Are you aware of music? Of bands? Do you know how rare that is? Half of them have the personality of a bivalve, the other half make music that does little other than make sure the vibrating atoms that carry it has something to do once in a while. La la la, plink plonk plink. One way or another, this'll be for the best.

Hot Freakin' Damn, last thursday and friday we wrote, recorded and mixed a 24 track album in 24 hours.
No wait! And it's good!
You can download it at the proper DACJ website: www.dacj.com . Let us know what you think on our forum, some of the songs will almost certainly be given life beyond the deranged circumstances of their creation.
What was it like? Easy for the first 12 hours, then hard, then harder, then mind numbingly boring (while mixing). At first it was devestating, and then it filled us with great pride. We ate pizza, chocolate cake, crisps and cookies and drank coke and fanta. It was much like a kids party in that respect. In fact, it was much like a kids party in many respects. But there were no clowns.
I think we're playing the Barfly on 4th June too. More on that when we know it.
Love DACJ.

Let's make the first blog entry here a bit of a downer shall we. The gig at The Rainbow on Sunday 16th April is not on. I'd say it's been cancelled, but I have a feeling it hasn't been on for a while, they just never let us know. We've been waiting to hear from them for a while, and having been unable to get hold of them by phone I'm pretty sure I can write this off. Don't come to the Rainbow on Sunday, even the pub will be closed!
Needless to say: we're pissed off at a certain goverment funded arts initiative.
