Giving Thanks
A POWERFUL Tool of Creation

Are miracles that are reported throughout history true? Or are they just the hopeful fantasies of silly superstitious people? I say, for the most part, they are true and I will tell you why further down…

When Jesus performed his miracle of the loaves and fishes before the great crowds that came to hear him speak what was the first thing that he did? FIRST He gave thanks, second he broke the bread and fishes, and third he instructed his disciples to distribute them to the crowds. Jesus gave thanks even before the miracle had occurred. Gratitude is a very powerful tool for creating. You cannot just give lip service, or mental service to gratitude, for when gratitude is done properly it is ALWAYS followed by a very good feeling that we refer to as gratitude. This feeling often moves us to tears…that is how powerful this feeling is.

Holidays with the Family

The Christmas Holidays are "supposed" to be about love and celebrating the birth of Jesus and enjoying the end of a year and all such good stuff. But many people know that loved ones can be such a pain in the ass sometimes. And the holidays are the times we are obligated to spend time with them.

If this is your dilemma do not fear. You have grown up a bit more this year and can handle the holiday cheer, right? You have been reading my blogs and Reprogramming Yourself…you have ceased Drowning in Worry…and your Life is NOT like a Car Crash anymore…RIGHT? You have been practicing changing your thinking, you have been meditating and contemplating right? Good that is like money in the bank, energy saved up inside of your being that will help you make it through this holiday season better than any other year in the past.

Okay for those of you who are still not sure what to do about the family this blog is for you. But I do recommend reading those blogs mentioned above if you have not already done so…they contain clues and more information about what this mental training is all about.

Falling In Love over the Internet

This is a question that I am often asked…“Do you think it is possible to fall in love with someone over the internet even though you haven't met?”

Yes it is possible and it happens all of the time. The real questions you should be asking are, “Will I still be in love with this person once we have met? Will this person fit into my life? Will this person be good for me?” And if not, “Why not?” and “How is it possible to fall in love with the wrong person?”

Mistaken About Sin

Lately I have had a few people write me and tell me that I am giving bad advice about sin. They tell me that I don’t understand what sin is. Or they correct me on what I present as right or wrong. (Read my blog: What is Right or Wrong? Your Feelings Are Your Guide! ) Most of the people who read my writing and reply do understand what I am teaching and are helped by it. But I know that those few who are upset by what I have written about sin reflect a much larger majority of the population.

When I go to the profile of these people who complain about my writing, I see that they are caught up in judgment and criticism of others. I often see that their choice of entertainment is crime dramas and violent vengeful thrillers, which is a reflection of their thoughts and values. Some of these people are very religious, many are Christians, but also I get many Buddhists or some other New Age variety of spiritual perspective. Whether they are New Agers or Christians they have a dogmatic approach to spirituality…they expect others to live up to their values, beliefs and goals.

To Spank or Not to Spank

A friend wrote me with his story and asked...

Light and Sound Soul (has some music you might enjoy depending on your age and taste!)

“I have 2 kids of my own, ages 1 and 3, and I also watch my brothers kids who are 4 and 5. All 4 are girls. Usually my one year old wakes me up around 9:00 am. Then the other 3 usually wake up by 10:00, but not today, the one year old woke me up around 9:00 like usual, but I noticed her sister was gone. When I went in the living room I found that other three older girls had been awake for a while and already destroyed the living room, kitchen, and their bedroom. Seriously it was a disaster.

“Now, usually my brother and his girlfriend tell me that I am too nice to them. Usually that’s true…I let them get away with a lot, I hate punishing them. But today I flipped out and there was a lot of spankings and yelling. Inside I just felt completely powerless, and I wished that there was some kinda magic or something that would just make them be good.

“Please Michael, aid me with some of your Wonderful Advice. – Joshua”

Hi Joshua,

Oh this is quite a dilemma you have presented. Was there any guilt for flipping out and losing control…for spanking these girls and yelling? That would be what I would have felt.

First of all I want to admit that up to the age of fifty I have only been a step father to two boys for three years and had just a little bit of experience with other children over these years. Also I will admit that during those times I was a bit on the lenient side until the stress got to me then I would lose it. And a Scorpio losing it is not a pretty sight…or perhaps I should say a frightening sight. I will admit that I have overdone it and lost control, but I also never did anything that would warrant child protection services getting involved. However for myself guilt was there and I knew I was out of line. I have made great progress in reprogramming myself and overcoming my anger but still, without children in my daily life it has been a long time since I have been put to the test.

If you want some sort of magic that will make children behave I think you are out of luck. This is a very fluid situation, all children are different. We ALL have free will and that goes for children too. Also children are really souls just like you in a younger body than you. But who is really more mature, you or the child? That would depend on the number of lifetimes each of you have had, how much you each have learned, how deeply you each decided to go into the darkness, and how far you have come back into the light. So keep this perspective in mind when dealing with children.

Is Polygamy Sinful?
Does Killing Feel Good?

I had a friend ask me these questions...

"Do you have any teachings about polygamy? Do you believe it is wrong/sinful to love more than one person at a time while in a committed relationship?"

Is it wrong? There is no such thing as an absolute wrong or right. It depends upon you and your situation and what you want to learn about life and yourself. It depends upon your situation and the people you are involved with and what their desires are and how honest you are being with them. I always tell people to feel their way through right and wrong…good feels good…bad feels bad. I wrote an extensive blog on this topic called What is Right or Wrong? Your Feelings are Your Guide! and speak of this in many of my blogs.

"I've been thinking about what you wrote and trying to analyze what you said about sin, mistakes and desires. All my life I have been taught that certain things are sin such as the 10 commandments; thou shall not kill, thou shall not lie etc. However, if you are telling me that one should do what feels good to them, then where do you draw the line of what "sin" is. It can't be acceptable to kill or hurt people in this life just because it "might feel good" to someone who chooses to do that. So could you please clarify what sin is. I understand that we all have desires and that we all make mistakes, but how does sin fit in our world and how does it change us if it is ok to do anything that feels right. I'm just trying to understand. If you could please clarify, I would appreciate it."

"Another thing as far as sin is concerned. I am a parent of three strong willed kids and constantly am redirecting/teaching wrong choices that they make every day. (Judgement) So what is our role as parents in helping them live their life to the fullest? Kids need direction and guidance, but where do you draw the line with them if they have the right to make "bad" choices and learn from them?"

I Can’t Find Peace in Heaven

I had a friend ask the following question...

"I'm having such a difficult time. I can't seem to stop my mind from racing. I am currently going through a divorce from a very controlling man. He has tried every way possible to make my life as well as my 12 yrs old daughter's life as miserable as possible.

"As a way to mentally, physically and emotionally get away from it all, I took my daughter to my brother's house in North Carolina. I figured his huge house on the golf course, with it's in ground pool and friendly neighbors would be just what my daughter and I needed to find peace of mind.

"My brother owns a restaurant and we got to meet all the clientele. We developed friendships with everyone; a sort of emotional connection. it was wonderful. However, 2 weeks after we got here, one of the waitresses who had been having a rough time of things herself, ended up committing suicide. It was sad. She was a nice girl but a very pained person. I understand why she did this and I do not feel responsible in any way for her decision. but it doesn't take away the extreme sadness we feel for the loss of such a young life (she was 33). This has rocked me to the bone.

"While I was here, I met a nice southern gentleman. I actually allowed my heart to feel something and on Friday he turned into Dr. Jekyll, all because of stupid drinking. I hate alcohol. Why do people have to drink to the point where they turn into a different person? I feel betrayed. I feel duped. I feel stupid for allowing myself to fall for such a person. He betrayed my brother (he was good friends with my brother). My brother feels betrayed. His kids feel duped. He fooled all of us.

"I'm trying to find peace but it just seems that wherever i go, there's sadness.

"I need to stop my mind racing and I need to center on myself. But whenever I do my mind races...too many things to think about and worry about.

"I want to feel happiness and I can't. This is not me. I'm typically an optimistic, loving, happy go lucky person.

"Do you have any words of wisdom that I can use for today that will help me get through today?"

Stopping your mind from racing will take time. You have an untrained mind; you hold illusions about life and what it is about, and have many dramas to sort out before you can feel safe and happy in your world.

So you go to your brother’s house where the things necessary for happiness and peace are all there and still you cannot find it. Why do you suppose that is? It is like I wrote in my blog Suicide Does Not Bring Peace...your life does not change just because you get rid of your body. In your situation your life does not change because you shed your outer circumstances and move into a new one.

Many people misunderstood that blog. They thought I was judging people who commit suicide. I was not. I was simply saying, wherever you go, there you are. The problems in our lives live inside of us. They may appear to come from other people, but in reality they do not. We are attracting our problems to us through Law of Attraction. The outer circumstances of our lives are a reflection of our inner world.

I believe one of the reasons people misunderstood that blog was because of the false beliefs they hold about reality...they believe that either we die and are completely gone, thus we can no longer suffer...or they believe that when we die we will go to heaven and then all must surely be well. Your brother’s huge house in North Carolina situated on a golf course with an in ground swimming pool and friendly neighbors sound just heavenly! Such abundance including a restaurant providing an income and all the food one could eat. Surely this must be heaven.

Yet somehow it is not heaven. So what is missing? We run here, we run there, we change friends, spouses and lovers, and still peace and happiness is missing. For a short time the new circumstance may seem to be just what you needed, but soon enough it all changes. Why? Because it is what you have created. It may seem like others have created it, but really and truly, you are coming to conclusions about these other people and how they affect you. It is the way you think about them and what their actions mean that is taking away your peace and happiness. You are God and you have intentionally incarnated into a world of duality (right and wrong, good and bad, pain and pleasure) and are holding your focus in a limited reality, and thus you are creating with limited information and limited understanding about life.

I wrote a blog called The Evolution of a Soul which helps explain more about life and how it really is.

Does Fantasy Really Create?
Law of Attraction

I had a friend ask a Law of Attraction related question...

"It's true that people can bring us down with their negativity. I now separate myself from those people and seem to run into them a lot since I have become more enlightened on the subject. I have noticed myself attracting better roles and more acting work since I have been saying affirmations, believing in myself more and imagining good things happening.

Does fantasizing about how you want a situation to be or the kind of job you want really help bring it about? Can I really create by dreaming a lot about having my future goals? "

YES and NO...

Yes as you already confirmed that you are attracting better roles and more acting work.

No in that there are times we expect a certain outcome…we are really wanting that specific outcome…and after too much time passes without it happening we find ourselves thinking this whole mind over matter stuff is a crock of shit.

Difficulties Letting Go of a
Relationship Gone Wrong

I received this letter from a friend who told me...

"I am finding it so difficult to move on let go of a relationship gone wrong.

"I met person this man on the internet who lied and manipulated me for one year. We had the worst abusive arguments in which he used my own childhood abuse against me. He used other women to make me jealous and disappeared on me more times than I can count. Yet he obsessively sought to possess and control me, accuse me of cheating even though I never did.

"I was not innocent either...I was moody, quiet, bored easily with conversation, demanding, and also very argumentative at times. I entered into abusive behavior and insults and often would self destruct by jeopardizing things when they were smooth. I'm not sure if it was because I was so angry inside, depressed, unfulfilled, lonely, desperate, and resentful or just testing his love for me and my trust of him.

"I have seen these are my issues and have been working on them myself. A lot of things seem clearer but many not and still very confused over everything. After one year we did meet and had some very rare and few beautiful moments, but mostly the same old dramas continued. I also found out lot of truth in this time that the man was a virgin at 42 years old; he lived life of recluse, suffered with mental illness, anger, paranoia, OCD and lived a weird unhealthy life with his mother who he claimed to take care of but he slept all day whilst caregivers took care of her.

"It is my fault that things haven't stopped because I hold on and it’s been two and a half years now, although after the last huge fight and disappearance at Christmas I tried to get on with life, went on self development courses and did lots of research into my behavior and healing work.

"Three months later he returned wanting me back and saying he loved me, admitting much was his fault. Then be began again to go into old behavior of past and blame and starting fights so I wouldn't go back, but it sent me backwards and I haven't been able to get back on track since.

"He has left me alone but I contact him still looking for answers, sometimes comfort sometimes hoping he will realize and change but he feels no changes are needed and goes as far to say that I interpret too much, go to deep when talking about ego and behavior and reasons behind it, also says I use it to get myself off hook, which isn't true of course.

"He tells me what happened in first year is unrelated, that after we met he made great effort and I destroyed it all with my attitude and pressure on him, so he tells me he's too exhausted to try though loves me and has no will.

"You would think that would be enough to send me on my way but i am filled with anger and resentment at sacrifices I've made as well as time wasted, all the hurt and not having sex for 3 years to please and be faithful to him.

"I've come to the end of my rope and through research and self development and my own writing I am much stronger in many ways and aware of much, I still feel confused is this my fault? Why did it happen to me?

"Why does he not realize and change? Why does he not love me enough or see me as special enough to fight for me? But more importantly why can't I just let this go and get over him, sometimes I just feel he isn't worth it at all and this is just my own ego in turmoil because it was rejected.

"I would really appreciate some insight into this and how to move forward, also if it helps others can be used for blog but just ask you don't use my name or links as he is on MySpace too and I fear he would do something nasty if he found out I told anyone of this."

You won’t find answers in other people. Consider how screwed up you feel at times. From what you have written I know you must feel screwed up. Well MOST of humanity is like that. We tend to think other people are doing fine, when in reality most are just barely holding it together. So don’t look for answers about why other people are the way they are. The reasons are many. There are no answers except to say that other people are very fluid, shifting and changing…there is no stability in others.
 
You must find the answers inside of yourself. You must find this stability inside of yourself. My blogs are specifically written to help people find that stability. Recently I have hardly done any blogging. That is because the blogs I have already written do contain all the answers you need to gain sanity in your life. They also include reading and video recommendations to help keep your mind focused on positive, uplifting, life giving topics.

I hope I have not sounded harsh or judgmental. That is NOT my intention. It is clear to me, and I am sure it is clear to many of my friends who are reading this, that right now you cannot see what is right in front of you. This is because you don’t have enough experience with good healthy people and don’t know what they look or feel like. It will take some time for you to adjust and see through these things. Continue doing the work on yourself and eventually you will get there.

I have really enjoyed it and thank all of you who have participated. Many of my friends have touched my heart very deeply. I love you all!

Unfortunately doing it for free has resulted in me not being able to write new blogs or serve as many people as I would like too. Doing it for free has caused me to maintain a fulltime job with not enough time to coach those people who want and need the help I have to offer. By charging for my services I will eventually be able to quit my job and do my spiritual counseling work full time.

Proof of God, Loss and Immortality

These questions came in one single email from a friend. I broke them into pieces and answered them a section at a time. So although it may appear that I ask a question and my friend answers, that is not the case.

ONE*derful

I view God as a very loving being/entity/energy that sees me as who I am...a part of God. But here's where I start getting scared and confused....

Sometimes I wonder if God really exists.

I believe what really worries you is if there really is something else after death or not. Do you continue to exist after you die?

Let’s look at it this way…existence is to something, as nonexistence is to nothing. Nothing is not possible, because once you have something, nothing ceases to be. Nonexistence is not possible, because once you have existence, nonexistence ceases to be. If there was ever a state where nothing was, where would something come from? If there was ever a state of nonexistence, where would existence come from? If existence were to end, where would it go, where could it go, how could nonexistence be possible? If you ceased to exist we would all cease to exist. If you truly contemplate these things you will see that the state of nonexistence is impossible.

God is a name for the creator of all things. God is all things, all things are contained within God. Does God really exist? Do you exist? Certainly you exist, thus there must be a God that created you and everything else that exists.

I mean, EVERYbody has their own interpretations of God and the afterlife. They can't all be right. Most religions claim that they have the whole truth (mormonism seems to have a corner on that market!!). All people can back their claims with 'miracles', visitations, religious experiences, you name it.

So this is my first confusion: Why does everybody get their own proof?? That includes not only religions, but also new agers, spiritualists, wiccans, reincarnationists, etc.

Backing their claims up with miracles, visitations and religious experiences does not mean they understand it all. It IS proof to that person that there is more to this world than meets the five senses, but their version of it, their understanding of it, may not be, and for most people who claim such things, is not complete.

Religions were created by unaware and unenlightened humans who were inspired by an aware and enlightened master's life and deeds. Masters do not start religions…ordinary people do! Some religions, such as Mormonism were started by a person who experienced some sort of divine inspiration and connection with God, but that does NOT make him a “Fully Enlightened Master.” The individual own proof that you asked about is this divine inspiration that a person experienced while connecting with God.

But here is what happens…People take a REALLY HUGE experience and try...

My second confusion: If reincarnation is a true reality, then I feel like all of life is hell. I'll tell you why: Because I love my identity. I have people tell me that this is just my ego talking and that when I realize who I really am (a soul, not Kristy) I will be thrilled to know and losing my identity as Kristy won't hurt at all.

If I truly HAVE lived other lives, then I most surely loved my identity in many of them, and also loved other people (spouses, lovers, children, etc.). And yet I don't remember a single one of the past people of my other selves (except I sometimes have glimpses of memory that are very intense and real and could be little memories of past lives...??). This makes me sad that all those loves and lives are forgotten. And it brings me little comfort thinking that my 'soul' retains the memories and the lessons from those lives.

Here's the deal, though: I am SO happy in this existence right now. My husband is a walking god and he treats me like a queen. He never judges me. He loves me unconditionally. He makes me feel valued, loved, adored, cherished, and even makes me feel HOLY. He is so compassionate and generous and nearly perfect to me. And then there's my children. I have four of them, ages 27, 15, 6 and 3 (QUITE THE AGE SPAN, EH???) I ADORE my children. One of them (the six year old) is special needs...she has Sotos Syndrome.

You could not have this experience you are SO happy to be having if you remembered your past lives and everything else about yourself...

Here is a huge fear of mine: I fear that if reincarnation is a true principle, then I'll lose "Kristy" forever once I "die", and then I will also lose KARL forever. It makes me cling to every moment in this life, but instead of doing it joyfully, I do it in immense fear. I feel like God gave me the most beautiful soul imaginable to share my life with (and my kids, too), and then he'll take it all away when I die. It almost feels like a big huge cosmic joke. I had a friend write and tell me that "God doesn't kill to save" but I would like her to elaborate more on that.

So are you happy or are you miserable? You said earlier that you were SO happy in this existence and now you are saying you cling to your life with immense fear...

I cannot bear the thought of not having my dear Karl forever. It is HELL to me. That would be hell to not have Karl. And it would be hell for me to lose my identity and his.

I sometimes feel (in weaker moments) that if God exists, he is an asshole because he makes it so hard for his children to know who he REALLY is. WHY is there so much confusion? I don't read scriptures anymore, but when I did, I remember God saying that "he isn't a god of confusion". I beg to differ!

I have several friends who are really into "ACIM" (A Course in Miracles). This makes no sense to me thus far, because according to ACIM, God created a "son" (Christ Jesus) who was perfect. God cannot create anything that isn't perfect. According to ACIM, God's perfect son had an imperfect thought (a "tiny mad moment") about separation, and as a result, fell asleep. Christ then had a dream of separation, and the result is "us". The dream is US and also many reincarnated lives having many different experiences...and they teach that this entire life and any other life or planet or universe is all an illusion. NOTHING exists but God.

It has been at least fourteen years since I read ACIM but I don’t believe it refers to God’s son as Christ Jesus, but as Christ.

The fallacy in this, for me, is that if God creates nothing but perfection, then he can't have a perfect son that can have an imperfect thought, let alone an imperfect dream about separation. That would make God imperfect and that just can't be.

I love Neale Donald Walsch's stuff, except for I literally sobbed (wailed) when I read the part that we FOREVER reincarnate. That is hell to me. I also REALLY struggle over Neale's teaching that God is forever changing and expanding. I thought God was the same today, now and forever? ?????? Why would God need to experience things if he already knows everything? I realize that knowledge and experience are two different things. I can know ABOUT jumping out of a plane with a parachute, but I can't truly have a full knowledge without the experience. But still...

I am rambling and pouring out my deepest feelings, and I have yet so many more to touch on. But I don't want to keep you here all day. I hope you can help me and bring some light to these subjects. I am so tired of losing things and I don't want to lose my darling Karl or my children, let alone my identity or theirs. It makes life seem meaningless.

Monkey Business

There was a holy man living on the top of Mt. Arunachala in the town of Tiruvannamalia in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. He had lived there for sixteen years and the only food he consumes is four oz of milk each day. Swami Rama tells us in his book the Path of Fire and Light, Vol 1: Advanced Practices of Yoga that when a yogi is engaging in a lot of pranayama and meditation exercises he does not need very much food, in fact food becomes a hindrance to the practices. It seemed that this holy man was engaged in such practices fulltime.

When I traveled to India I was hoping I would meet masters such as this. Tiruvannamalia was the home of a very well known master named Ramana Maharshi who had previously lived on this very same mountain until his death in 1950. The energy inside of his cave home was amazing and helped me to reach a very deep state of meditation with great ease. It was shortly after meditating there that I met a native man who told me of this holy man on the mountain top. He offered to take me to the top to participate in an early morning puja, which is a worship ceremony.

We set out at 5:30 am while it was still dark, yet the city was already bustling with spiritual seekers and religious music.We were guided to the top (a 2600 ft or 800 m climb) by a couple of barefoot sherpas who were carrying water and chai tea up on their heads. This hike was strenuous enough for me who was only carrying a back pack, yet both of these men offered to carry my pack for me as well. I could feel it was the kindness of their hearts and not money that motivated them to offer. I politely refused and carried my own load.

We made it to the top just in time to take part in a daily ceremony to receive blessings from the master.You have to think, if someone spends sixteen years in meditation on the top of a mountain, they must be getting somewhere. I can't imagine anyone doing such a thing in mere hope of finding God. To even begin such an endeavor you would have to have very powerful experiences that would tell you it was a worthwhile thing to do.

It was very cool to be a part of this. There were five kids ages 8 to 13 happily participating too. It was quite magical and I enjoyed the ceremony very much.

Coming back, half way down the mountain, just above Sri Ramana Maharshi's cave home I hung out on a very large flat boulder for breakfast and a nap. When I woke up I wanted to take the long path back to my hotel room so that I could record the sounds of the wild monkeys I had seen along that path the day before. Unfortunately I did not have the stamina; I was pretty worn out by my morning climb up the mountain. I knew I would have another chance before we left Tiruvannamalia. Well that chance came much sooner than expected; the monkeys came to me.

At first one monkey showed up in the big tree that was providing my shade. She was making a lot of noise so I got some great recordings. When I fed her biscuits she stuffed them into her mouth whole, leaving a rectangular protrusion in her expandable cheeks. If you look at the photos carefully you can see the square shape left by the biscuits. Then she jumped back into the tree to consume them. Later I gave her some spicy fried dried peas; she loved them. She was gentle yet cautious as she took them from my hands. The skin on her hands was softer than I imagined it would be. When I took a banana out she looked like she was going to attack me for it. She had no patience for me to peal it, she wanted it now!  I quickly threw it off to the side for her to retrieve. She ate the whole thing including the pealing.

I had to be watchful of my recorder, microphone, backpack and all of its other contents. I kept worrying she would take something or attack me. I made myself a bit frightened. I should have taken greater care with my thoughts, she only wanted the food.

Soon two male monkeys joined us and chased the female off of the boulder and into the tree. It took them a little while to take interest in my food. They were too busy deciding who was going to dominate. At first the little one attacked the big one, then jumped up on his back and buggered him in the rear. This surprised me but later the bigger one dominated the smaller one chasing him away. These two showed their teeth a couple of times, not to frighten me, just in their moving about and chattering with each other. They had two very long fangs on the top and bottom and then regular looking teeth in the rest of their mouth.

More monkeys came to visit and soon I was feeding about six adults and three young ones. All of the larger adults seemed to have big gashes and fresh wounds on their arms, legs, and face. I could see what they get up to with those large fangs of theirs. A few times they would fight with each other, but mostly they circled me, looking for the stray bits of food, as I fed them. I did not really feel that they were going to attack me or become too aggressive, but I did let my imagination run wild. I want to be clear here… the feelings I picked up from the monkeys told me I was safe, yet the thoughts in my mind was making me feel I was in danger. By this time I had place all of my gear into my backpack, except for the microphone which was hanging out to capture the sounds, and my camera which was often in my hands. I sat on the rock so as not to frighten the monkeys away. I wanted them to come close and take the food from my hands. I kept the backpack between my legs and occasionally would set my camera down on it so I could get more food out. A couple of times a monkey (three or four of them each took their turns doing this) approached me and I thought they were going to try and take some of my gear. Then it would turn out that they only wanted a stray pea that was sitting on the rock next to my leg, I wish I would have figured this out sooner than I did.

All of a sudden the largest monkey of all jumped out of the tree, it seemed out of nowhere since I had not seen him before. He jumped down right in front of me, stood up erect, and raised his arms and hands into the air. He had a large gash on his upper lip which left a big split through which I could see his teeth. His right arm also had a major gash on it too. This frightened me; I raised my arms up and yelled at him. Unfortunately I also flailed my legs kicking my camera down the bolder. It bounced many times making expensive sounds that were loud enough to be recorded.

Then the monkey reached down and grabbed yet another pea that was on the boulder right next to my leg and ran away showing me once again how much further I need to go in gaining control over my mind.

I had to do a bit of climbing to recover the camera, which was broken beyond repair. I was able to recover the digital film chip which is why you can see the photos in the slide show. Too bad I did not get a photo of the monkey who scared me; he was really quite a sight.

I made many observations about this experience. One, I was not in control of my mind even though the monkeys kept showing me they were only interested in food and that they were cautious and not wanting to tangle with me. I had wanted a new camera; I kept complaining how mine took so long to get ready for the next photo that I ended up missing some really great shots. After that I had to buy a new one. I wanted to record the monkey's voices. I got to do that and they came to me. The Universe showed me that all is well even though the thing I feared (loosing some of my gear) actually happened. I had a fantastic experience and I have another great story to tell.

Imagine Having This Beautiful
and Happy Life!

Imagine for a moment that you had all of the money you could ever need. Imagine also that you met a lover who really understood you, loved you, cared for you and nurtured you. This lover is a person who you are physically attracted to, admire and enjoy spending time with. This lover gives you respect, understands your mood swings, and gives you the space you need when you need it. Imagine that you both had great health, plenty of free time and traveled the world staying in each place as long as you liked and then moved on to the next location that called to you.

Imagine tropical beaches and snorkeling with colorful fish. Imagine the warmth of the sun on your naked flesh, and the cooling retreat of a shady tree with your favorite drink, a great book, beautiful music…or merely the sounds of the sea if that is what you prefer. Imagine a cruise ship taking you past one beautiful location after another, dancing and laughing till the wee hours of the night and sleeping in as long as you wish. Imagine skiing gracefully down a sunny mountain slope enjoying fresh powder that fell the night before. Imagine hiking in ancient forests, viewing waterfalls, wild life and spectacular views.

Imagine making wonderful friends along the way and the laughter of children occupying as much of your time as you liked. Imagine finding three really great places in various parts of the world you could call home and either building or buying a home there. Imagine that you touched the lives of others such that they too admired and looked up to you. Imagine that you could actually help people discover the power and love that lives inside of them and witnessing them change as your influence touched their hearts and lives. Imagine whatever else would make you feel good to go along with this scenario.

What if that actually happened?

What if your life were actually that way? How would you feel? How does it make you feel to imagine it? Stop reading for a moment…take that vision in and feel it.
