Category: MusicHello to all our Myspace friends.  We apologize for the lack of blog entries lately but we've been so busy putting together our new CD, it has occupied much of our time in recent days.  Now it's finished and off to the pressing plant!  So...

Watch out for the new 15-song CD from MOD FUN entitled "FUTUREPRESENT" - available in December.

We've also begun production on the video for the lead single, "Give" which will premier on the Official MOD FUN Youtube Channel very soon.  Meanwhile, there's lots of other fab MOD FUN content there so please do check it out.

We're also now on Twitter - we hope you'll consider following us there.

Finally, we're thrilled to announce that we finally cracked the New York Metro area commercial radio airwaves this morning when WRXP FM 101.9 DJ Paul Cavalcante played us on the "Pinfield Rock Show"!  The station does take requests, so we hope all our friends and fans will give them a call and ask to hear MOD FUN - 800-423-1019!  Thanks.

We are delighted to announce that the new MOD FUN album"Futurepresent" will be out in December'09 - we are hoping to have it released before the 25th (makes a GREAT stocking stuffer, we might add!)... 15 tracks in all, with 11 written (& sung) by Mick; 3 (writ&sung) by Bob & one (writ&sung) by Chris!  A first for a MOD FUN release, and After hearing the results dunno why we waited so long to "mix it up" on record like this... Needless to say it's a good 'un...Watch for the 1st single to be previewed (on MySpace) 12.3.9 . . . MOD FUNalso just finished shooting footage in Asbury Park for said 1st single ("Give") - when that's done in production & posted toYouTube, we will get a link on here in the meantime check out the older videos on the all-new MOD FUN YouTube channel... also stay tuned for announcements for "In Store(s)" and Club-gigs in the early new year!!!

MOD FUN has been nominated in the "Surrounding Area Rock/Pop/Alt" category for the 2009 Hoboken Music Awards. The awards ceremony will include performances by some of the nominees, MOD FUN being among them.

Fans can also vote for MOD FUN in the "People's Choice" category by emailing: hobokenmusicawards@gmail.com and placing the name MOD FUN in the subject line.
Space is limited at the awards show so, if you're planning on coming down, please get there early - it's on Saturday, April 25th at The Goldhawk in Hoboken.
