Micah Blalock & The WC Student Band

The new worship CD, "You Are My God," has just been released by Micah
Blalock and the WC Student Band. It includes the perfect mix of songs to
express a message of love and light, enabling us to worship the One who
loves us in His mercy and grace, and who showers us with His light.

The experience of listening and singing along with these songs unveils a
metaphor for our life's journey. We worship a God who allows us to trade
our sorrows for His joy. He is our marvelous light, our Creator and
Sustainer, and the center of our universe. With the joy He provides, we
sing to demonstrate that we're saved. Although we cannot perceive just how
great our God is, we do recognize how much He loves us, because He sent His
Son to Calvary on our behalf. We proclaim his mercy and grace in every
breath and every move. He is the majestic Creator, and a wonderful God.
So, here we are; to worship, to bow down, and to say the He is our lovely
and worthy God.

God loves us, and He provides light for us in the darkness. He is our great
and majestic Creator and sustainer, who is wonderful, beautiful, strong, and
good. As our Father, He mysteriously cares so much for us that he sent His
Son, our King and Lion, as our sacrificial Lamb who humbly died on the cross
in our place. In our risen Savior, we find the way, the truth, the life,the
joy, the grace, the freedom, and the breath with which to rejoice, sing,
dance, and worship the One who is worthy of all praise. He is the Savior,
and we are the saved.

This worship team did us a great service in their professional production of
this high-energy CD for our youth. We're blessed to have such a team of
musicians with rare talents for singing, song-writing, and playing virtually
any musical instrument. They have used their precious spiritual gifts for
His glory, because He is indeed our God.
