hi
we ended up playing quite a few gigs in 2008. we met some stand up men and women, played in front of a mural of penises and covered our heads in baking foil more than once.
we haven't been hunting for 2009 gigs yet, cos we're making new stuff to try out. but, err. . i don't think it will be too long before we're setting up the double drums for another show.
speaking of which - you might want to click on this petition to protest to downing street about the 696 form:
http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/Scrapthe696/AXIhzGBpBexmDK2ZlfA2mrT'The form demands that licensees give police a mass of detail, including
the names, aliases, private addresses and phone numbers of all
musicians and other performers appearing at their venue, and the ethnic
background of the likely audience. Failure to comply could mean the
loss of a licence or even a fine and imprisonment.'
