In a mini version of the annual networking event, staff will meet fans and bands looking for everything from better representation to professional packaging. The Chicago all star line up will include some of the industries most prolific & well known Metal entities such as: Dark Star Records, Chicago Metal Factory, Bitriot Records, Rebel Radio & Bookings, Monsterman Graphic to name a few. Bands approaching the Metal Mergence group can submit their demo, find booking resources, and perhaps even get a kickass new shirt design or CD cover art all in one stop! PLUS a live show that will burn in infamy! As the word gets around, the Mergence was created for local and upcoming talent to find the tools and contacts needed to make their projects succeed. When it comes to the packaging itself, some of the best artistic names in Metal, Horror & fantasy illustration, photography & CD cover design have answered the call. The creative line-up includes Scott Jackson (Megadeth, Electric Hellfire Club), Brad Moore (Sixty watt Shaman), Chad savage (Coffin Caddies), Stephen Jensen (F3 Studios) along with many other pro packaging artists. An exhibition of their works and services is offered...so bring your ideas for your next music masterpiece, T-shirt or show poster!

DJ Eleven (Host of NEO's Metal Mondays) rocks the lower level of the mergence with tracks of Chi-town's finest in the DJ Showcase featuring other fine local metal spinners!

LIVE Perfomances by CYANOTIC, MINDWARP CHAMBER, JUNGLE ROT & SMOKE ensure the variety of metal flavors with this astounding line up of styles!

Special guests include: The Maiden's of Metal...Milwaukee's own FIREWALK GIRLS show you the new look of Heavy Metal Promotion, and Ari Lehman (The first Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th!)

Outside of the NAMM show in California, this is one great opportunity for you to meet & greet your peers and professionals in the scene. We'll be taking a lot of photos and delivering a lot of aftershow press on which bands came to support and resource the conference.

Patrons can enjoy & meet the creative people who bring visual aspects of Heavy metal to life. Among the line up includes renowned CD artists: Jeff Gaither (The Accused, Electric Frankenstein), Brad Moore (Sixty Watt Shaman), Scott Jackson (Megadeth/ Electric Hellfire Club), Chad Savage (Coffin Caddies) to name a few. F3 studios & Chad Lee bring their photo and graphic talents to the metal table. The pro exhibit is designed to give musicians the resources for making their projects look as good as they sound.
