That's right.

I'm still trying to get the new improved MookSpace player to allow free downloads again.

Here's something amusing:

I've already sent the impenetrably monolithic powers that be at MookSpace an email telling them that as the writer, performer, copyright holder, and owner of all rights to all of my songs, I grant myself permission to do whatever I damn well please with my own songs.

And over a week later I get a response from a machine, telling me that I must get permission from the copyright holder.

Which is me.

So, I send the machine yet another email stating that as the writer, performer, copyright holder, and owner of all rights to all of my songs, I again grant myself etcetera.

Y'know, it's easier to deal with Con Edison.

Let's hear it for the booming digitally-spawned Making Musicians Miserable Industry.

Stay tuned.
