Man-o-man, I've been busy on my end of the line.

New Tour
Just to let it be known from my camp, we'll be opening-up for the Superdrag mini-tour this fall. It's going to be very cool not only to get to run around with those guys but it'll be like old time getting to spend a little time with them in a rock environment... John and I are hammering out the final art for the Superdrag double disc and John's new solo record, which are both equally killer. I also plan to have a few things on the merch table as well but more importantly we'll have Mr Doug Gillard on stage with us doing his primo rock guitar thing. Doug's the guitarist from Guided By Voices, Cobra Verde, Death of Samantha, My Dad is Dead and so on, but if you haven't seen him play you should do so. And his solo record(s) is/are killer... So check out the dates we have booked and hopefully we'll be playing somewhere nearby.

New Album
The new one will be called Beached Whale and will contain no less than 60+ songs. It will be an enhanced CD that will have a crap ton of mp3's included in addition to the standard playing disc that will be somewhat of a "best of." It will only be available at shows until it's official delivery first week of November. There's a lesser equivalent available as a sampler download at www.stewartpack.com so go get it you like. Compilations galore!
1. The Sugar Tribute which is pre-listenable at www.myspace.com/sugartribute
Don Coffey Jr (Superdrag) was so kind as to help Shayne and I knock out a version Bob Mould's "Granny Cool" Sounds pretty cool and it let me try out my new mic plus singing in front of a pool table.

2. WUTK fundraiser--looks like we'll be doing the Superdrag track on a "blood on blood" type comp for Knoxville bands--proceeds benefit WUTK The Rock! Superdrag in turn knocked out a very cool version of one of my songs from the 1-900's song list entitled "Now."

3. Seacow Records, ONE compilation will hit the shelf this December I'd say. The disc is intended to promote and support the ONE organization which spearheads awareness for a multitude of charities that serve in the fight against poverty and hunger throughout the world. It will also feature local artists from the Tennessee Valley area. Included artists include Scott Miller, John Davis, Mic Harrison, the High Score, me and many more. The goal is to include as many artists as possible, blowout a big concert in December, and make a nice donation to a worthy cause just as the holidays roll around. Should be a cool project!

We'll have the Leningrads with us and I'll be sitting in on drums with Sci-fi Lovestory for a mini set. Should be cool to get to sit in the back (drumming) and listen to the band go at it...
