Some incredibly exciting news! FinestImaginary will be introducing a few pieces from the new range of acrylic jewellery THIS WEEK! Wowzers! I'm super impressed with how these things turned out, and i'm sure you will be too! The 3 designs that will be available this week will also have new shirts to accompany them later this spring! Unfortunately cos I'm real impatient and couldn't wait to show you the acrylic goodies, I'm not going to do a joint release... But yeah!

Hey guys! Long time no type :) Things are settling down back into a routine after the christmas rush/family time... Altho FinestImaginary HQ is setting up for a relocation early next month!

ACES!

Here at FI Head quarters, I've been putting some work into backgrounds and sets for showing off the wares. Yesterday I made a tree branch, ideal for showing off our pretty mini owl plush, and perfect for hanging our dangle earrings on...



I'm still working on that background, btw, so it looks a little rough around the edges still :)

D'ya know what was really... reaaaalllly grating me lately? white backgrounds on photos. I have a frickin' 400D and still can't get decent white backgrounds without phenominal photoshoppage, which bores me. I don't have the funds for a lighting set up, either! So. On to a new plan!

In keeping with my whimsicle characters, I decided to paint a section of their world onto a massive piece of wood. I'm slowly gunna add the characters (in form of vinyl stickers!) to the background... as soon as they come out of hiding, that is.

There's lots to learn about the lands of imaginary, and this is the first step in mapping it!Who knows, one day I might transcribe the land of Unglefor and the Ungleforians... for now, I've left them to their own devices. I bugged them far too long.
