Since college is main priority for most of us, & disagreements over what type of "sound" we each wanted, we have all decided to call Kinsman Redeemer quits.

It was amazing when it was, & me personally, will never forget KinRed. It was a learning experience, by meeting new people and other bands, that shared the same love I had for music, & by even learning how the biz operates. Plus, I can't imagine where I would be musically if I didn't have KinRed - I have learned that 3 guys continually pushing me to create KinRed guitar that was genuine, technical, & expressive in my own respect, & in theirs as well, has aged my musicianship so much more than if KinRed was none at all. When three brothers from other mothers that I love deeply depend on you to follow through, improvement is tenfold. I just hope that I was as much of an encouragement for each of them as they were for me.

But more than all of this, Kinsman Redeemer was our praise to Jesus Christ, the real Kinsman Redeemer of this world. Without him, we are nothing, & our music was a testament to that. We created this band to worship our Kinsman Redeemer, who died on the cross 2000 years ago, & ressurrected three days later. That was our witness, & always will be. I believe KinRed served it's purpose in more ways than one.

So, with that said, at the end of KinRed, most of us have started our new music paths. This is NOT the end for most of us musically. Just the beginning.

He is still alive,

Jarett

I am looking for new musicians to play with in the Austin/San Marcos area. I'm dying to meet some new musicians that are searching for a guitarist - I'm putting myself on the market. If interested, hit me up!

Later broski's!

We have been in diar need & want for change. We have wanted new material, a new album, and even a new sound. But with college 1st priority for all of us, KinRed hasn't gotten the time, effort, & attention we believe it deserves. We have come to a crossroads, and we have decided that Kinsman Redeemer will be all of our time, effort, & attention that is not already consumed by dreadful undergraduate school, or Kinsman Redeemer will be not at all.

So, with that being said, as the fall semester comes to an end, and everyone gets ready for the break and the holidays, we will be hard at work in the studio! We have a load of new material that we can't wait to make legit in the lovely tx hill country town of Dripping Springs at The Zone Recording Studio. We will have a new album out late January, early February, & a load of upcoming shows.

So check back for studio updates, a new myspace, a new album, new merch, upcoming shows, mini tours, more change, & more importantly, new tunes!

We can't wait.

Totally stoked,

KinRed Family

Soon, we will be heading back into the studio to lay these down, sometime around Christmas hopefully, as well as retakes on the older material. But for now, get em get em @ the gigs. Check it!

OH, REDEEMER Oh, Redeemer, bring me home. My Savior, I am not alone. Living Water, I am coming home. Holy Father, who sent his only son. He's walking out the front door. He's not fine. Upon his horse, he starts the end of war. He's divine. Don't you come outside if you're in that state of mind, to see Glory, the Devil's terrified. He brought the Devil to his knee's. And every knee will bow & tongue confess that Christ Lord is our King. Calling all Kin. To the chariots. Redemption is at it's end. Godsend. Pack up your faith, we're going away. Clock ticks world's end. You found your salvation at a roadside church, with a sign out front reads "One way tickets to Heaven inside." If I asked you, would you save me too? They say that you are, but I can't throw that far. You are the perfect love story. Your only son you gave for me. Die to live in the Truth I give. One way ticket to Heaven inside.

YOU CALL IT TURMOIL, I CALL IT ENTERTAINMENT It's a chance to see when we are broken. A "Show & Tell" of our emotions. It's a fast-forward still continuum, through our malice & false pretense. You're going to blow it up tonight! It's only a matter of time. Speak slow. Stop! Keep it together now! We're runnin' dry. Check my heart, if you can find it. It's a long road to reciprocity. Choose your words carefully, they could be the death of me. What's next Dr. Ketcham? Throw the rope. That devil won't float. The Savior is in the boat with your signed confession. Doctor! You're practice is on the brink! She's too distracted to tell you what she thinks. All one might! In all one night! She's done with loving you. But not all Hope is gone, not all Truth is lost. Just hold on till the end. It's a chance to see, when we are broken. A "Show & Tell" of our emotions. It's a fast-forward still continuum, through our malice & false pretense. Whatever happened to forgiveness? Take off your daunting mask & try to haunt your way through this. When our words are over-consumed, over-analyzed, & cross examined, we tend to forget the reason for our treason towards another. It bleeds! From the cut marks of our betrayer. Three's a sign to put up a fight for our direct line. Where have all the good people gone? I am so weak. You are haunting me in my dreams. A shapeshifter in your shadow of four. Watch you step, The Bible is on the floor. The World will fall. It's a chance to see, when we are broken, a "Show & Tell" of our emotions. It's a fast-forward still continuum, through our malice & false pretense.
