Greetings all:

Well what a year we had in Indiana!  The trip to Dallas was exciting once again this year!  Indiana USofA came home with the wonderufl Hospitality Award from Kara Young Ross...Thanks Sweetie!  We are very proud of both Holly Luyah and Strawbella BeA'Goddess for their hardwork, determination and dedication while in Dallas...thanks ladies for representing Indiana with Class!

Well as many of you have seen, it hasn't stopped for us!  Working on the new year while in the fabulous Dallas sun!  Everything is running smoothly for the 2009-2010 pageant year!  Holly is gearing up for an exciting year as Miss Gay Indiana USofA, she is out working her eyelash glue off at various cities.  Performing in old venues and popping up in new ones!  You will also see her at various Pride Events all summer long!  Thank you Holly for your dedication to Indiana USofA and keep it up girl!

The Date is: Saturday, September 19, 2009
The Location: Encompass Nightclub, Lake Station,In.
NO Residency Requirements!!
Application/contestant information will be available on Monday, June 15th.
Of course Miss Gay USofA Classic, Lawanda Jackson will be in attendance with a few other special guests!

Indiana USofA is also an OPEN preliminary this year, with NO Residency requirements, however, you still must enter and qualify at one of the above prelims!

All of our promoters did an excellent job, the awards are given to the promoter that went above expectations on different levels.  ALL of our promoters were excellent to work with, and should be commended on an outstanding job!

I also want to recognize a great asset to Indiana USofA, Miss Dena Richards.  Dena traveled with Veronica to every prelim, and was there to offer support to the contestants, as well as to the promoters and offered great support during the Indiana USofA weekend. 

For the 2009-2010 pageant year, we will be awarding the above awards again, and adding a two new ones:

Best NEW promoter

The Netasha Edwards Dedication Award; given to the person(s) that have dedicated a great deal of time and support to the Indiana USofA pageant System

Again, I can not tell you how happy we are with the entire year, and look forward to moving ahead.  As i've stated, we've layed the foundation, now it's time to build!

PROGRAM ADVERTISING


This year the Miss Gay Indiana UsofA pageant will be held at Encompass Nightclub, Lake Station, In. The pageant dates are set for April 3&4, with Miss Gay Indiana UsofA Classic on Sunday April 5, 2009.

We are trying to attract local restaurants, shops, and other business’ that may appeal to anyone traveling to our area. The contestants will be coming from all over the state of Indiana as well as Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky. We are also looking for other establishments throughout the region that may be interested in promoting special events.
If you have a friend competing, what a great way to wish them luck.

We have set up a Host Hotel in Portage, In., and would like to give all of our guests for the weekend places to visit, eat, and shop. We are expecting approximately 150-200 people each night of the contest.

We will be printing 200 programs for each night of the contest, and will also be placing a program in each hotel room reserved.

Greetings all!!

We are seeking promoters for the Miss Gay Indiana USofA & Classic pageants for the 2009 pageant year.

These preliminary pageants are going to be extended to the surrounding states of Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and of course Indiana. Therefore Indiana USofA is becoming a "Regional" Pageant. 

There is a minimal franchise fee for owning the preliminary pageant.  With that fee you will be able to host both prelims to Miss Gay Indiana USofA as well as Classic!

We are trying very hard to get the Indiana USofA pageant system back to the traditions it once was!  Many years ago the Indiana USofA system was flourishing with exciting, energetic, and extremely talented entertainers.   

This is a great opportunity for any club, or person wishing to venture into pageant promotions.  Whether you already host a pageant or not, pageants bring great revenue to any club!
