An interesting Topic:
An Interview with A-APRP Central Committee Member Kwame Ture On Revolutionary Culture and the Role of the Artist Nehanda Imari: Brother Kwame, first of all how do you define culture? Kwame Ture: Africa's noble son, Ahmed Sekou Toure, tells us precisely that culture is "all the material and immaterial works of art and science, plus knowledge, manners, education, a mode of thought behavior and attitudes accumulated by the People, both through and by virtue of their struggle for freedom from oppression and the hold and dominion of nature." Nehanda Imari: How does the artist fit into this definition? Kwame Ture: Culture is created only by the people. All artists use this culture. They do not create it. A writer writes a song or a book, they did not create music, language or writing; the people did. Thus, the artist only represents the People's culture. The culture of all oppressed is the culture of resistance. The enemy seeks to corrupt the artist into misrepresenting the people's culture, thus betraying them. Thus all artists coming from an oppressed people must represent resistance in their art form. Anything other than this is betrayal. Nehanda Imari: You were an activist in the 60's and as you continue to be active in the people's fight for freedom. What role does the progressive artist play in the movement? Kwame Ture: We said the culture of the oppressed is the culture of resistance and it comes to the forefront in mass confrontation with the enemy. Thus in the 60's in the U.S. the culture of the African masses came to the forefront with the spontaneous mass movement. The honest artists continue to represent the noble aims of their people. The artist has a responsibility to represent the people's culture with integrity and dignity. History absolves or indicts us all. And it is those artists who truly represent the people's interests and aspirations that the people praise. Today everywhere we can hear the ringing applause at the mention of the names Paul Robeson, Sony Kandia Kouyate, Miriam Makeba, Bob Marley, etc. Sekou Ture pointed out that " to each people their culture". It is clear that cultures differ, some depend on music to a larger extent than others, etc. But these differences are not necessarily antagonistic; just like the physical differences in the human family. Imperialism will seek to heighten these differences and, where possible, make them antagonistic. African art is basically utilitarian and social. Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah shows us that African art is preoccupied with the moral-philosophical aspect of the society which explains its typical power. Nehanda Imari: In conclusion can you give us a final comment on the artist today who wants to become a 'Revolutionary Artist' and serve humanity? Kwame Ture: Revolutionary art is art which inspires the people to fight against all forms of injustice, which is the only true purpose of revolutionary art. Reformist art teaches the people to accept injustice in essence, while fighting against its form. I think the artists must use their form of their art to confront all evils in the society.

I will use a simple example:
Johnny is a bored dude that sits in his empty room in his empty house. He is alone by himself. is he NOT alone??
Yes, Johnny thinks of himself as an individual who is seperate from all other things, may consider himself alone, but is this an ignorant way of thinking??
"No man is an Island." Is this statement true? To be more specific, I am referring to the lower and higher ways of seeing the world. From the individual perspective, yes he is alone. But from the higher persspective, is he still? This what I wanted u to address, but perhaps I was too vague. I will elaborate.
Physically, scientifically, or materialistically speaking, we are not alone. From birth we depended on our mother and father's physical unity to sustain our manifestation. Mom and dad smashed, and through dad giving and mom receiving, dad's sperm and mom's egg become one. That physical matter sustained us from birth up to now. THrough simply analyzing of our DNA we can find in some form, who we are connected to. Through this scientific knowledge we prove our connectedness to everyone around us. Everyone is connected to everyone else. Furthermore We all breathe the same air, and that air that connects us. I am breathing in the same air as you. We breathe in nu cells and breathe out old cells. When we breathing out old unusable cells and someone or something else breathes them in. If i have dis ease and breathe that out to someone, that di ease may manifest itself within them, dependin upon their state of being. I can be breathing in what someone in Japan breathed out weeks ago. Scientifically speaking, we are sharing bodies. SO physically, we ARE connected. Therefore we have the illusion that we are individuals and are Alone. But in truth, that is an illusion and we are NOT alone.
Mentally speaking, as some people say, people like to copy. No one wants to be themself. thus, we are under the influence of each other. We can choose to REFLECT on these influences in many a ways. We can choose to copy, shun, seek to undesratand why the meaning behind their actions, or we can abandon those people and act as if they did not exist. This is the simplest way of proving how we are connected mentally. If I had no effect on you no matter what I do you could not even make an attempt to copy, because you can not copy what u can not REFLECT on. we can only REFLECT on that which touches , or connects, impacts, or influences us. Thus, through understanding that we can Reflect on anyoneand anything around us, we must be connected to everything and everyone. Thus we not mentally alone. Take Johnny for instance. He is under the illusion that he is alone, and he is an island, and if he dies right there in that room, no one would notice. But he's not looking at the higher perspective. Meanwhile, his girlfriend Susy is in brooklyn waiting for his call, and he hasnt called her all day. And now this is influencing her to worry, and now she has become depressed. She worries about Johnny who is physically locked up in his room, but he is mentally right besides her, and has a very big impact on her, that she could reflect on. She may become angry, happy, whatever she chooses, but these are all reflections through their connection. he has an impact upon her. Thus Johnny is IN TRUTH, NOT alone.
Mental connection is something we can CHOOSE to tap into. I can illusively choose to totally disconnect from you. But still, we are connected. We may PRETEND , that we are disconnected. We may sometimes find we are ALONE, but this is due to ignorance of our connection. I may try to keep someone out of my mind, but the fact remains, that that person has an affect on me, therefore in actuality, MENTALLY We ARE CONNECTED.
Spiritually, Are we alone? Are we an Island? Are we totally disconnected from one another? Is my spiritual energy limited to my body or is it capable of extending outside of my self? When a church is filled with people with positive spirits, do those spirits reach out to each other comforting each other, uplifting each other, or does not one feel the spirit of the others around themself??
Does my spiritual energy not interact with others around it?? If I am feeling GREAT!! Does my spirit not uplift those around me as well? When a church becomes saturated with the positive energy of many peoples, doesn't that energy have a huge impact on the pedestrians that walk by?? In turn, is that group of people from the church feeding off that spiritual energy for the rest of the day, if not days? Are we Spiritually connected the way Jesus was connected with every one and everything around him? When someone felt anger towards Jesus, he understood the source of their anger. He knew their spiritual enlgihtenment, he recognized their ignorance, as he too was once ignorant. So he asked the Lord to have mercy on them. He attempted to teach them. He wanted them to spiritually evolve and tap into their higher power through their Oneness with each other and therefore, God, thus making each other Stronger, that they may become gods. "Is it not written in the law, that Ye are gods?" -Jesus. John 10:34. in turn He was so connected with everyone else that he worked very hard so that they may realize they're spiritual ignorance.
Is GOD limited to the heavens or is his Spirit within everyone of us, leading us? If we all share this Spirit of God within us are we not spiritually connected through GOD? It is is GOD that sustains the air we breathe and the food we eat manifesting at every given moment. God is Around and within everything, and it is that GOD that connects us. Or is it ? Are we Spiritually connected? Or are we Spiritually alone??
I have connected the dots for you that you may consider that being an individual is an illusion that we have learned due to our lack of reflection on the teachings. In truth, we are all connected. We are one giant connection of spiritual energy which uses physical matter to manifest itself within the laws of Maat. Through reflection on this you may understand this. Through understanding, you may Be it by acting in accordance with it. Become one with everything, and follow in the ways of Christhood, Horushood, Krishna Consciousness, Buddhahood through the sages who have come before us.
Now, am I wrong, anm I right. This is but an example of the wisdom of my teacher's. So let me know if I need a new teacher. Im sure you want the best for me, as I want the best for you.
What I am asking for is a response.

alright Im gonna take a breather..... ...lets take this a few steps back. Start from the beginning Vic (da god) what does the word religion even mean to begin with? webster's definition ... RELIGION
- Belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers regarded as creator and governor of the universe.
- A personal or institutionalized system grounded in such belief and worship.
- The life or condition of a person in a religious order.
- A set of beliefs, values, and practices based on the teachings of a spiritual leader.
- A cause, principle, or activity pursued with zeal or conscientious devotion.]
wtf was that trash??? English... is a dumb language... lets get the definition through the origin of our (slave master's) language. We can begin questioning when we at least can agree on its meaning of the WORD we are questioning. OTHERWISE how I even move forward if If I cant agree on its meaning?! RELEGARE HUH??? lets look a "RE" and "Ligion" as seperate words.... hmmm lets see ... "RE"...REturn ...turn back?? REconnect ...connect back?? REply .... ply back?? REmove ...... move back( it wasnt originally there)???? REdeem ... deem back?? REcollect ..... collect back(they became lost so go back before lost???? now this word "LIGION" ... ??A Legion (1 letter difference) ... isnt that a group in the roman army who are supposed to be UNITED who work together?????? definition: A very large number of things grouped together So this definition of RELIGION using its latin Relegare origin and RE LIGON does make sense. (to me) Whoa Vic WTF!!! Im not into reading bro!!!! WELL GTFO this blog HO!!!!WAIT a minute!! There's a religious GOAL????! WTF??? Enlightenment??
