 OUT DEC 2008

New signature on Down The Bush Records, Karl Dread, a mysterious Jamaican kungo dread based producer
(as far as we know he actually lives on the hills of the famous blue Mountains with the fierce desire of never coming down),
delivers an up-lifting EP with the ever eclectic spirit of Down the Bush.
With this release, a true mastermind blend of dub, broken beats, house and afrobeat,
electronic music goes global like never before. Anbuley originated from Ghana, and Vienna based singer
(works also with Makossa and Megablast) adds her vocals and afro vibes on the main track.
When Jamaica meets Africa, a heat wave hits the dance floors!!!

Tasty afro flavoured broken/disco/house track from the brilliantly named Chalice  Cooper.
2EuroMan is a soulful broken afrobeat gem, What you get is funky guitars, farty analogue stabs,
horns, groovy organ and an irresistible urge to dance.
Side-B's Bionic Remix by U-Man makes things a little less organic with some nice electronic elements
with ragga Biz brought into the mix .

FEEDBACKS:

"Brilliant i love this full support from me of course"
LAURENT GARNIER

"well quiet nice afro - disiac tune here, good for radio, nice for warm up prefer the original"
COMPOST.

"J'adore! original, Bon groove, de bon fx, des bonnes idees...
DJ RORK.

"nice one"
MASTER H.

"Very sophisticated Afro-beat inspired jam. I'm a sucker for horns,
whether it's in hip hop or dance music, when they're used tastefully
and this one definitely grabs the ear.
A bit of a mid-set worker and definitely something to drop on a more learned crowd"
GIANT STEP.
