Did you used to love the Power Rangers when you were a kid? Of course you did, since you had eyes and ears and a heartbeat. That is, before... the accident.
Anyways, Australian DJ duo Bag Raiders made a ridiculous video for their song 'Fun Punch' that uses the same stunt crew that did Power Rangers. And it shows. This is truly one of my favorite music videos ever. And yes, I've seen 'Sledgehammer.' Something about exaggerated intergalactic hand-to-hand combat mixed with addictive electronica is oddly pleasing.

After months of searching for a reasonably-priced monthly practice space and paying way too much per hour at other rehearsal studios, Turkuaz has finally found a home beneath the streets of Billyburg! You can now find us practicing Sunday and Tuesday nights in the basement of The Lovin' Cup Cafe, the sweet bar/restaurant that has a new, secret venue in the back called Cameo. I know, I know, this probably sounds a bit crazy; a cafe that has a secret venue in the back and even more secretive rehearsal spaces in the basement? Well, it might indeed be a bit crazy, but it's true. The $5 'Cameo' Special (a PBR and a shot of bourbon) sure takes the edge off after, during, and before rehearsals.
This past Sunday night there was an open jam upstairs at Cameo. This might be a weekly happening, so come on down to The Lovin' Cup next Sunday night. Who knows? There might be jams, ponies, or even tater tots. You never know.

Our show at Bill's Bar in Boston on 12/5 will probably sell out (we're playing with Quintus, Nicky Egan, and With Engines, who all rock). If it doesn't sell out in advance, you'll have to pay more money at the door, so do yourself a favor and buy tickets online here!

Due to the new Myspace music player's absolute suckiness, our free download of 20 Dollar Bill is temporarily unavailable. We'll let you know when it's back up.
Thanks a bunch, Tom.
