It's the first day of November. The day after Halloween, which is so much fun. Too bad there seem to be fewer and fewer trick-or-treaters with each passing year. What happened to the kids? I suppose they could have grown up. They could be staying inside. They could not exist. Or they could be over populating another parallel universe. Things happen.

November means we get to get back on the road for a trip to upstate-ish New York and feel what cold really means. The last few times we've headed that way in November we saw our first snow of the year. Granted it was white, wet and slushy. But it was snow. And it was falling from the sky. I love it when that happens.

Did you notice the amazing, spectacular fall colors this year? It really peaked in Maryland last week. Right now outside our apartment window is this brassy gold-leafed tree. And near my mother's house was this stunning red tree whose vibrant color was punching through the air with all it's might, before it went completely bald, giving the neighborhood kids (the few that there are) a chance to go diving into leaf piles (with me!).

If you are looking for a set from WA9 (trio) at Falcon Ridge there are a couple of places to find us.

Saturday we'll play after the main stage ends, and following Red Molly at the Budgiedome. This is an awesome place to see music, especially if you are a night owl. We go on second.

Find us on Sunday at 1:45 p.m. at the Acoustic Live vendor booth. That will be somewhere on Dave Carter Way nestled in the non-retail booths. Usually that is near the Dance Tent or Workshop Stage. They have incredible music all weekend. ... Sunday 1:45 p.m ...

And of course, you'll find us wandering about throughout the fest at night playing around some circles and minging with you lovely people.

See you soon!

We can't wait for our 5th annual return on Long Island house concert extravagannzaaa.

Howdy! Last night we played to a fun house (or funhouse) of wonderful folks in Brooklyn. We had a blast and enjoyed teaching our find friends about the 10 body parts that you can spell with three letters. It really IS fun to learn and sing with We're About 9. Any adult can do it. It's as easy as 1, 2, 3. Three letter words are the new four letter words. They just can't be beat.

Thanks to everyone that helped us make the show exhillerating. We really couldn't have done it without you.

Squeeee,
WA9
