Hey what's up everybody! Just wanted to let you know that our debut full length CD is completed. The name of the new cd is; The Consequence of Compromise. After what seemed to take an eternity to complete, while still doing shows, and having some set backs, the new cd is finally done! We will be hitting it harder than ever this year! We want to say thank you to all the Black as Day fans who have been patiently waiting, and to our sponsors/endorsers who have provided us with some of the best gear to get this cd finished! What’s up everybody! I just wanted to keep everyone in the loop as to how everything is coming along as far as recording the cd. The bass tracks are done and Tim is finishing up the last three songs for the cd. Things are a little stressfull right now because we had a set back with the release date of the new cd. Everyone in the band ended up really, really, and I mean really sick over the past couple of weeks. No surprise there with this fucked up weather! So that set us back. It looks like now the release will be by the end of april or the beginning of may. But we’ve all made a full recovery for the most part and are back at it. The songs that are done are in the process of being mixed. As we get closer to finishing up with the entire recording process, we will be announcing a official release date of the cd, as well a cd release party. Thanks!

Rich-Black as Day Bass

Hey what's  up everybody! This is Rich, the bassist for Black as Day. I just wanted to get everyone up to speed with where we are at as far as recording the new album. J-sin has wrapped up all the drum tracks, Seth has completed all his guitar tracks, and now its my turn to lay down the bass tracks. The new songs we've written sound amazing! Can't wait for everyone to hear the new tunes! There are some new recording techniques that are being used on my bass rig this time around, which are working quite nicely! All I can say is it is going to sound sick! It should take me about two weeks or so to track my bass, and then Tim will have the honors of being last to lay down vocals. We're anticipating having everything done and ready by the beginning of April to release our first full length cd, right before we go back out on tour in support of it. And of course we will be doing somekind of Cd release party/throwdown Black as Day style! So keep checking in to see what all is going down. Also just to let everyone know, we're doing two shows in February just to give us a break from sitting in a studio going stir crazy! Besides, there's only so much one person can take after everyone has been eating taco bell and drinking beer every night! So check the profile page for dates, times, and updates. Until then....

Black as Day has just secured a sponsorship/endorsement deal with Road Ready Rack Cases. The guys would like to thank Michelle at Road Ready for this incredible opportunity! This will be a sponsorship/endorsement well deserved as they are booking a 75-100 date plus tour this year. So some new road cases are going to be needed. They are hard at work in the studio as we speak recording their first full length cd.
