So we're recording our masterpiece in Berkeley @ Robot Envy Studios. We're just about done with the music, and the vocals begin next week. We're all pretty excited about the material we have thus far, and feel that this 13-song collection will raise a few eyebrows. Please stay tuned for more info - it looks like a CD release party in the fall.

As A People has started pre-production on what will be their first full length release through Umpteenth Records. The band is currently rehearsing and battling it out for song selection. They will begin recording in April or May and hope to celebrate the album’s release in late summer/early fall 2008. Their next show is March 28th @ Rock-it Room in San Francisco.

Hey!
thanks to all of you devoted friends, family, and fans we have won the SF Deli Magazine's Artist of the Month award for December 2007.

It was quite an intense race to the finish between us and local electro/pop/rock duo "Master/Slave" (www.myspace.com/master1slave).
They probably deserved it just as much as we did, but we wanted it real bad. :)

So thanks again to all of you who went out of your way to get us votes, and hopefully you will be hearing alot more from us soon.
