Hello everybody.

I hope all who read this are well. 1st, let me apologize for not being the best with updating my blog. It has been a long time since I wrote you all and I will try not to let it happen again.

That being said.....here is the good news....

1st...... I'm back in the studio working on new music for a new album! I'm gonna be switching gears a bit musically and doing what I love most which is more of an "acoustic soul" kind of vibe. As I record, I might BRIEFLY put some songs up on my page to get your feedback so make sure to check my profile often.

2nd..... I'm very happy to report that I'm going on tour with JOSS STONE. She was gracious enough to allow me to open the show on her upcoming spring tour. The tour will go from mid May to mid June and will include shows in the US and Canada. The bill will include myself, Ryan Shaw, and Joss. My part of the show will be just me and my guitar. I'm goin on first so make sure ya'll come out early. As soon as I have all the dates I will put them up.

Hey Everyone,

You may have heard already that our summer tour with Jodeci will not be happening. It is unfortunately true. Without getting into too much detail, apparently there was some mis-communication within Jodeci's camp that went from moving a few shows to cancelling them all together. I found out a few days ago and I apologize for the delay. If I had written this when I found out, you would have reading a much different blog.

  The good news is that we are already working on putting some shows together and I'll keep you posted as they get confirmed. I'm sorry that I won't be seein some of ya'll next week. I WILL be seeing you real soon though. You can be sure of that.

Hey everybody,

1st I have to say thanks so much to all of you who have gone out to get my new album. I really appreciate the support and I love hearing what you think about it so please comment me and let me know whats on your mind.

I also wanted to let you know about a few things.

The New York Times just did a feature on me that will be in this Sundays (March 26th) paper in the Metro section so dont forget to pick up a copy. 

Also, I will be on "Amateur Night At The Apollo" as a special guest on the evening of April 15th right after "Saturday Night Live" so make sure you set your Tivo's ahead of time.

 We have a lot of great additions we'll be making to my profile including some tour news, audio interviews, video footage and more so make sure you check back every few days. Thank you all again for all your love. It is you that make what I do possible.

Lastly, I just wanted to advise you that you may want to call your local CD store and pre-order your copy of "Left Of Center". Some stores might have several copies but others might only have one or none in stock. Pre-ordering is the safest way because you're guaranteed a copy when you go to the store. I had spoken to a lot of people over the last few years that tried to find my 1st album and had a harder time than they or I expected. I don't want ya'll to have to bounce from store to store trying to find it. If you live in Connecticut, I would definitely pre-order cuz  my parents, brothers, sisters, cousins and friends who live here will all be buying multiple copies : ) My brother said he's going to go to a store and  buy however many they have on the rack. Gotta love that strong family support!

All that being said, I really appreciate everyone who has been writing and showing me so much love. I'm very excited about the new album and I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed writing and recording it for ya'll. Dont forget to tell EVERYBODY you know to go out next Tuesday (March 7th) and pick it up!

Wassup ya'll,

How are all my myspace junkies doing? I hope everyone is well. I'm sorry I've been kinda bad at the blog thing. I'm gonna try and keep up a little more I promise. I just wanted to let those of you know that didn't already that my new album "Left Of Center" comes out in less than a month!!

March 7th is the date so mark your calendars. I'm very excited to finally get this album out to all of you who have been waiting very patiently for it. Thank you for hanging in there. We are also about to release the new single which is called "The Answer Is Yes". I'm adding it to my profile so please drop by my page and let me know what you think. I'll let you know when it's time to call your local radio stations and request it.

I apologize for myspace page looking so regular. It will be getting a face lift soon. My label will be taking it over and making it look a lot nicer that I ever could. I will still be the only one reading and replying to emails though.

Was up everybody,

I hope all is well with you. I just wanted to update you on a few things. First of all, I put up 3 more songs from my new album and some new pics on my page so check em out when you get a chance. "Indecent Proposal" will be the first single going to urban radio starting Nov. 1st. (Its kinda sexy so prepare yourselves) "Wassup" is another track for all of you that just wanna go to the club and shake what yo mama gave you. Last but not least, "Lovin U" is for all of us who have ever messed up a good thing and still regret it. I hope you like them. I'm not sure how long these full versions will be up because I'm not sure that I'm supposed to put them up in the first place!! But its all good. Tour dates are comin soon too I promise.

What's goin on everybody! Thanks for checkin out my new "myspace" site. I am going to be updating it as much as I can with news, new songs/videos, tour info, etc. so keep checking back. 

For those of ya'll who don't know yet, I've finally finished my 2nd album entitled "Left of Center". It won't be out till early 2006, but my first single  "Dance For Me"  has already gone to radio. If you haven't heard it yet and want to help a brotha out, call your local radio station and request it. There are a couple different versions of it so I added them both here on this site.  Listen to them and let me, and everybody here know what you think. There are more songs from the new album comin. As soon as I am able to put them up, I promise you I will.

I'm also starting my promo tour this month which will take me all over the country. If I'm in your town, you better make sure you come through to say was up!!
