Just a quick update for the two people who still check this page--  Justin and I are deep in the belly of the recording beast, and are looking at 10-11 tracks for the next record.  Also, in other great news, fortune has smiled upon us:  the covenant I made with Mr. Phil Moore has come to fruition--the ol' "I'll play in yours if you play in mine"  type Bowerbirdian/Ticonderogian deal.  He''ll be "lacing" the 'roga tracks later this week, and will be a fully functioning performing Ticonderoga dude when we start playing this shiz.  Back in the fold--Hot Damn!

Shazam! Ticonderoga has undergone another transformation. Mark Paulson and Justin Vernon (ex-DeArmond Edison, Hazeltons, Bon Iver) are now carrying the torch aloft, working on new music, and trying to get our third record done before Justin goes out with the Rosebuds on May 18th. It's been a strange and exciting transition, and we're proud to keep the Ticonderoga sailing on into uncharted waters. We'll be posting some new material soon to get y'all salivary glands a-pumpin', so stay tuned.

This has been a year of transition for Ticonderoga, and we're slowly getting back on our feet after the em-migration of Phillip to the Bowerbirds. Wes was out of town for quite a while, but is back now, and we're like busy bees working on the third album. November 5th will also mark our return to live performance after the tour meltdown of November last. We'll be bolstered by the formidable brothers Cook of DeYarmond Edison and Megafaun fame, Brad and Phil helping to rock our music in ways that were previously impossible. We're looking for a spring release for the record, and we'll no doubt be previewing some of the tracks here on MySpace, so stay tuned, and thanks so much for listening.
