In our search for a new drummer, we thought it would be a long, tiring, almost never ending search. If you remember, we had a list of things that the new guy had to live up to:

You must be/have:
(1) Dedicated to music
(2) Love Melodic Death Metal
(3) Able to play the bands previous songs note for note
(4) Able to write new material with groove and passion
(5) Able to tour
(6) Have the desire to do what it takes
(7) NO ADDICTIONS
(8) Decent equipment
(9) Able to practice in Maryland weekly
(10) Most importantly, be able to get along with the current members

Pretty tough list to fit into. Well, we found our guy! His name is Mike Lumer. You may know Mike from some of his previous bands, most notably Rev9. He has been around the area and metal scene for many years. He is an amazing drummer that will only expand our writing and playing to great new levels. We are honored that he was even interested in auditioning, and even more so that he accepted our offer to join.

He already has the material down, we just need to fine tune a little; so expect some Samadhi shows in the very near future!

Samadhi family,

   As you all know, our new album "Incandescence" has been available for pre-order through our online merch store. We would like to thank each and every one of you who has shown their support and bought themselves a copy. You all should be recieving your CDs/tshirts very soon! 

 

For those of you who want a copy of "Incandescence" right away, please submit your orders through our online merch store (click the link at the top of our page). All orders will be shipped the week the order was made. Our album WILL NOT be in stores for some time, but it WILL be available through iTunes, Comcast Rhapsody, Ruckus, and all of the other major online distributors in the next month or so. So if you can't wait, order your copy now! If you can wait, that's totally fine by us. We will announce the iTunes release on our myspace page once we have been notified!

 

Thanks to everyone who's shown their support throughout this process. We love you all and can't wait to finally share Incandescence with you.

If you would love to own the Samadhi CD, shirt or combo deal, but don't have paypal; this is what you do:

1) Send a message to the band stating that the items you want (make sure to include size requirments) with your shipping address
2) We will send a reply message to you with the amount required, and the address to send the check/money order to
3) Print the message's you sent with the reply from us
4) Send the check/money order and the printed message to the address stated

The check/money order will have to clear before we ship the items. Shirt only orders will then ship immediately, CD and combo orders will ship out on Tuesday, September 30th for the pre-orders. After October 7th, they will ship once the money clears.
