Hello!  A bunch of news and go:

1) NEW RECORDING: We just recorded a new song!  It will be on a 7 " that The Mylene Sheath is putting out with us and our friends LUNGS later this fall!  We are really excited about this song and have been working on it a lot. The vinyl will be a limited run of 500 on picture discs! We'll put the song up on the website sometime soon as well so check back!

2) NEW MEMBERS:  We would like to formally welcome Josh Parks & Josh Sparks on guitar and drums.  Both guys are amazing musicians and we extremely excited to have them writing with us.

3) VINYYL:  So along with the aforementioned 7 " w/ the Mylene Sheath, this Winter comes the release of our last record on Cavity Records "Old Stories" on vinyl!!!  We are figuring out the colors right now and hope to have a Dec./Jan. release of that!  Three Bears Design did an amazing job on the artwork for this and we are super excited to see/hear it!

ALSO! A limited /100 version of They, The Undeserving with screen printed jackets will be coming out later this fall!

4) We will be playing a show Oct. 25th with Beware of Safety and Into it. Over it in Chicago at Ronny's! This show is going to be great so don't miss it! Also we are working on a show in Iowa the day before so we'll post more information about it as soon as we get a venue booked.  We haven't played in Iowa in almost a year so it would be amazing to see you guys there!

Dear world wide web (internets),

It's been a year since we last talked to you so...it's probably time we do.
We have some good news and some not really bad news bad news. I'll start with the good.
This last year has been amazing. Since our last blog thingy a few sweet things have happened that I will now list off:
-"They, The Undeserving" released on vinyl by the Mylene Sheath. Yesssss.
-"Old Stories" CD released by Cavity Records. Yesssss Pt. 2.
- Amazing Summer tour to almost every state from the Mississippi to the Pacific Ocean.
- Amazing Winter Midwest/Southern tour with the ridiculously good NATIVE.

Over the last year we have been very fortunate in the shows we have played. We've gotten to play with so many good bands from Iowa and all over the states and we are very thankful for that. Also the response from you guys at the shows has been amazing. Thank you all for your kind words whether it was just a simple "hey good job man" or a "that was mindblowing" or my all time favorite "hey you guys sound like a modern pink floyd mixed with system of a down." All feedback of any kind is always welcome and we appreciate it.

Alright now time for the....not really bad news bad news:

We aren't going to be touring for a while. At all. This is the first Summer in like...4 years where we won't be on the road going somewhere. We will however be spending our time writing. Our last 3 releases were all written relatively quickly and we want to spend as much time as possibly slowly putting together our next record. Due to several reasons (living in different states, graduating college, etc.) it has been hard for us to focus on both writing and touring and we feel that it is time for us to focus on just one for a while.

We will probably be playing a couple shows late summer (most likely one in Cedar Falls, maybe one in Chicago) but that will be it for the summer.

If you have made it to this point...congratulations, we owe you an ice cream cone for your time. There will be some more blog updates coming up so stay tuned and thank you very much for supporting our band.

NEW LABELS

We have officially signed with Cavity Records for the release of our next full length (out in late summer) and The Mylene Sheath for the release of "They, The Undeserving" on 12" Vinyl!!!!

Over winter tour we got to hang out with Dan and Jason from Cavity and couldn’t be happier with them and the label.

TOUR

This late summer we are starting to map out/book a mostly WEST COAST TOUR. We’ve been wanting to get out there for a long time and we are FINALLY going to do it. Since we have never been out there we don’t have too many connections/places that we have played before to start from so we are asking for your help!

If you run a venue, know of a venue, want us to play at your house, are a band, are a band that wants us to play at your house, live in a house that has shows, etc., etc., etc., get a hold of us A.S.A.P. so we can start getting this in motion.
