The song also features Elle on vocals who has just an amazing voice and was really fun to work with. In addition, I had my good friend Liz Densmore sing some backing vocals, she has an awesome voice as well. I was really lucky to have such great talent to work with. I hope you guys like the new song and I even put up another new picture. As always, your comments mean a lot to me.....so let me hear ya!!!!

Hey Guys...I know...long time no talk to via blog, so here I am writing so I can tell you what's been up lately. So, after a long stint on the road with the Cheetah Girls, I've been home working hard on my new songs. You may have noticed that I took all my old ones down, that's because we're almost ready to post the new tunes. They are quite different sounding and I'm really excited to get everyone's feedback. I'm also anxious to get on the road and start performing my new material; as some of you might have seen….I'm on the advertisement for the "MyPop8Tour" well, I will NOT be on that tour due to some other commitments, but I hope all the performers have a great time.
My management team has been putting together my own tour which hopefully we'll be hitting the road this summer…so you all better come and say hello to me!!!! Also, we are working on a sitcom staring "yours truly" which we should be shooting the pilot for either just before the tour or just after. We'll be filming the tour because we are going to use some of the concerts and behind the scenes footage for the pilot…that's all I can say for now..it's a really cool story line and I think everyone is going to totally want to watch it. I'll be posting some new pics as well…so I'll shoot out a bulletin and let everyone know when all the new stuff hits my page. Thanks for all your love and support and I hope to see you on the road this summer…

Alright guys this ones a killer!!! So, today we had a show in Grand Rapids, MI. Right? So, today when we got to the venue everyone was talking about going to Canada and all this stuff. We've been knowing we were going to Canada since like September but I never knew when. Everyone has been telling me "Daniel, you have to get your passport renewed!" ('cause my last one expired, HA!) So today I'm like "Why is everyone talking about Canada, when are we going?" And they were like "Tonight, after this show!" I'm shockkkkkkkkkkkked! I'm thinking to myself of ways to tell everyone I don't have my passport, right? Then a lot of the people on our crew wouldn't be able to cross the border because they had arrests years ago! I'm like wow if they have their passports and still can't get in how am I going to get in!?!?!? So then I asked my friends in the band Everlife if they had their passports and they did but their friend Austin didn't. I was like "you don't either?! Okay, we're hanging out in Michigan together until they get back!!!" HAHAH. So, I get on the bus after the show and get into my bunk to go to sleep before we get to the border. At around 2AM we get to the Canadian Border, right?! LOLL! I'm hiding in my bunk, scared to death and then Aaron, our road manager comes to the back of the bus and tells us we all have to get off to go through Immigration. I was last off the bus and the guy and Aaron had my license and were looking it over and then handed it to me and told me to go inside. On my way in Kiely was on her way out. I said "where are you going?" and she's like "I'm done." She was done so quickly because she has her passport!!! LOL I'm sooo scared as I walk in. Sabrina and Adrienne and all the dancers and bus drivers were in there. And we were going one by one. I was letting everyone go in front of me because I didn't want to get turned away in front of everyone. So after waiting in this immigration office for like half an hour at 2 something in the morning it was my turn!!!! I go up and I say "Unfortunately, I misplaced my passport and only have my license." The guy goes "Uh Oh, you're in big trouble." Then he takes my license and sees my name on the list, VIP BABY!!! lol jk and goes "Alright, you're good to go." I'm like "WHAT?!?!" I made it through!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I got back on the bus and went right to my laptop to write about this!!! It was soo0o0o funny. Oh and did I mention everyone left me inside, alone, with no Passport when I had to go up to the counter. But it's all good...hhahaha!!
Alright, I'm off to bed it's almost 4AM!!!!

Hey guys,
It's been a little while since a blog but this story deserved one! I was in Corpus Christi, Texas for a few days and had the most amazing time. For those of you who don't know I'm from Florida and I grew up living right by the water. Corpus Christi had such a Miami vibe I loved it! Corpus Christi is also where Selena was born and raised. Adrienne is a die-hard Selena fan and it rubbed off on me. When we found out we were going to Corpus Christi we were beyond stoked!!! Adrienne, Aaron (road manager) and I made plans to go to the Selena museum and boutique, family owned and run. Unfortunately, the day we arrived in Corpus Christi I slept until 5PM! HA! So Aaron and Adrienne had to go on the journey without me. They get to the museum and they asked if Abraham was there, Selena's father and manager. They told them "Yes, let me get him." SELENA's father came to meet them and gave the tour HIMSELF! Then Selena's sister Suzette who is the drummer in the family band came! They spent the whole day together.
I'm still pretty jealous. Suzette told them she never goes to Selena's grave site just because it's too hard. But under the circumstances she took them to the graveyard! Selena's grave was roped off but Suzette took them under the rope! I called Adrienne and Aaron when I woke up and asked where they were. Aaron told me "Ohhh just in the car with Suzette, Selena's sister." I didn't believe him. Suzette, Aaron and Adrienne are in the car laughing hysterically because I don't believe them. Suzette asked them what they were doing that night and invited them to dinner. That night we all met downstairs in our lobby to go out to dinner with SELENA's family!!! Selena's family picked us up in their cars at our hotel!!!! How cool was that?!?! When I saw Suzette, the woman I've seen in all the Selena footage and the sister portrayed in the movie "Selena" I was shocked! I couldn't believe I was with them. So their family and friends drive us to this Mexican restaurant. It was the same restaurant the family took Jennifer Lopez to when she stayed with them prior to filming the movie "Selena." We sat down and the owner took away all our menus and told us we were comped for dinner! I personally love Mexican food and was cleaning off everyone else's plate after my own. HAHAH! After dinner I thought they were going to take us back to the hotel but no, they took us to their house!!!
Adrienne and I couldn't believe it. We just met these people this day and they invited us into their home. The home of Selena. They are the nicest people ever man! We pull into the driveway of their house and I almost fainted. It was a MANSION! The house was the last house in the neighborhood, guess they needed plenty of room to build that house. LOL. We go inside and the house is beautiful. There are pictures of Selena and the family throughout the house. I go into the living room and get this, above the fire place was a sculpted portrait of Selena! We all just stood there for a few minutes, with our jaws dropped. They took us into every room of the house. Their master bedroom, the bathroom, the office with all the Platinum album plaques, everywhere. The house was on an acre or two with a lake. They had a huge backyard with a pool, slide and hot tub. You know me and the hot tubs ahaha! There's blinds on the doors looking out to the pool opened by a button on a remote. It was Insane!! Then later that night, Suzette took just Adrienne and me into "the Purple Room" aka "the Selena Room!" The furniture was actually the furniture Selena and her husband Chris had in their bedroom when they were married. Chris asked Suzette if she wanted the furniture and didn't hesitate to take it off his hands. She stained the wood and then painted the walls purple and had everything else purple because that was Selena's favorite color. Adrienne and I were pinching each other because we couldn't believe we were sitting on SELENA's bed! After seeing photographs nobody has ever seen, and hearing incredible stories, we went upstairs! It was at least a 2,000 square foot game room! Pool, table, bar, widescreen TV, Video Games, Basketball.....EVERYTHING!
It got pretty crazy that night and I ended up getting talked into doing a few backhandsprings for everyone.....I'll show you all sometime :) I was then driven home but these very great close friends and just sat in my hotel in disbelief that night just happened. The next day was the show and there they all were front and center for the concert. Even Selena's mother came to the show. I couldn't believe I met Selena's mother. The woman who gave birth to the International Legend. These people became family and have invited us back already. It's so great to meet just warm, welcoming, genuine people in this industry. Aaron, Adrienne and I watched Selena tonight, the movie. All 3 of us cried at the end. :( For those of you who haven't seen the movie you NEED to see it. People make fun of me for saying this sometimes but "it's IMPERATIVE!" 4 REAL! Anyway I'm on the bus right now on my way to Memphis, TN. It's 3:13 in the morning so I'm going to go get some sleep. Can't wait to hear from all of you and I'll talk to you soon.
Goodnight guys! Be Safe!

Hey Guys! Happy Halloween!
I'm in NYC for Halloween which is definitely the best place for Halloween. It's insane here. All the costume shops around the city have lines around the block that you have to wait in just to get inside!! Everybody on the tour has been talking about their costumes for weeks and bought them a while ago. I just didn't really care, I thought "meh, I'll get a costume when I get one" Luckily I didn't wait until NYC because I wouldn't have gotten one. I bought one yesterday in Pennslyvania and everything was sold out except for this zombie costume. HA it's interesting! This morning I went to the Martha Stewart show and the whole studio was decorated with a Halloween theme. And Martha dressed up as a cat and when she came out she crawled onto the soundstage. I was SHROCKED! yes shrocked because shocked alone isn't enough! Andy dick was another one of the guests and I was dying while watching the show in the green room. After the show I went straight back to my hotel to take a nap considering I only had 2 hours of sleep before Martha Stewart. Tonight we're all dressing up and going to this costume-friendly restaurant Jekyll and Hyde....anyone know that book? I'm gonna take a bunch of pictures tonight that I'll show you all soon. I'm still debating on wearing my costume or not. But if you guys have any pictures from your Halloween, post em! I'd love to see them all. Alright guys I'm off to this shindig. HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Laterrrr

Alright so yesterday was an awesome day. We got a brand new tour bus because our other one kept breaking and things were going wrong. So when we got to the Atlanta venue, we got the new bus. It's amazing, I can press a button and the doors in the hallway open or close. At night, on the outside, we have police lights that strobe…it's so tight!! Me, Kiely, Adrienne and Sabrina have condo bunks which are the big ones; and we all have personal DVD players built in…get this..with wireLESS headphonesss! All of our TVs are flat screens HDTV with Satellite. When you walk on the bus you walk up like 3 steps, but with the press of another button the stairs close into a flat level, even with the rest of the bus. So there aren't any steps when we're traveling just when you walk off and on. I thought this bus was a 2005 or perhaps a 2006 but I was wrong, this bus is a 2007!!!!! It's amazing, the kitchen has granite counter tops and throughout the bus are marble floors. The couches are some kind of like alligator or snake leather. This bus is beautiful!! So we had the show in Atlanta and it was completely sold out 10,500 seats. It looked like there were about 100 rows on the floor of the arena. T-Boz of TLC was supposed to come but only her kids showed up. However some of the boys from B5 came. We played this same venue last year on the Christmas tour but nobody remember it because we didn't have the whole arena set up. Dinner was fun too, Sabrina was re-enacting when she fell out of her bunk, which on our new bus is definitely a lot higher. I'm on a bottom bunk and it wasn't until Sabrina mentioned the reason she sleeps on the top, it's because she believes it could fall…that made me think about sleeping beneath her. Because on buses the bunks are like legos, there could be one, two or three in each section. They just rearrange them for every tour. But it's still cool! Ok, enough now…I'm off to bed..I'll have more later, so don't forget to check back often….daniel
