Another night of live Osaka Pearl sounds takes place this Saturday Jan, 23 at Warren Wilson College in Black Mountain, NC. The show is FREE to all & begins at the Sage Cafe space at 9pm. We'll have special musical guests with us & we will be performing tracks from our upcoming 2010 album. We've been in Nashville this past fall recording & mixing tracks for the debut album, which will be released early 2010. Come out and see what we've been up to if you are in the area! 

Thanks to all of you who came out for the debut Osaka Pearl show - we had no idea it would sell out so fast, sorry some of you could not get into the show! We had a fabulous time at Bobo .... and as many of you know it's just the beginning of our Osaka Pearl journey. It was a feat in and of itself just to get all the synths, samples and sounds working technically, and so we're happy all went well there. Before the show even started we'd been running into random problems of feedback and a PA that briefly decided not to work -- luckily it did work. And now we're going back into our creative mountain cave to continue our rehearsing and writing for a while. We're still working on our debut album and are writing some new songs to add to what we already have created. It's a very special project to us and we have been totally immersed in this for quite a while now with producer Rick Clark. The show was a great experience for us to work out some live tweaks and share our new sound with our Asheville friends.  There are some exciting behind the scenes developments going on so it is still not quite the time for touring or much live stuff yet. When we do play live around here in Asheivlle though, we hope you will join us again for another night of Osaka Pearl experiments and vibes. And those Bunnies, all those fabulous bunnies that came into Bobo so late in the night... will we ever see you again? You may need to have another bunny party and come crash an Osaka Pearl show sometime. That may be a request dear Bunnies. Come back, you were so cute.

We're still working closely with our producer Rick Clark on all kinds of things, including our debut album tentatively titled, "Where the snow is deep" ... so for now .. we'll remain a little mysterious. Soon we will have more music to share with all of you. Meanwhile, you might be able to catch us at a live show so come out for a mysterious night of Osaka Pearl music. Touring and albums and all that stuff will be happening ... we'll post updates here. The creative wheels are still spinning in Osakaland....
