According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, rapper T.I. will be moved to a halfway house after serving months in a federal prison in Arkansas. T.I. could be released to a halfway house as early as January

Rumors regarding T.I.’s move to a halfway house began circulating on the Internet Tuesday (December 15) and were confirmed by a prisons spokesperson.

“…it’s not uncommon for inmates to be placed in community corrections for the last portion of their confinement to help with his transition,” Bureau of Prisons spokesman Edmond Ross told the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

T.I. was originally sentenced to serve a year and a day in prison, but he is expected to be released from prison custody on March 23, 2010.

The Atlanta rapper is currently serving time because of a sentence for illegal firearms possession and for possessing a gun as a convicted felon.

I'm sure the King will be please to know that you (his fans) help make "Hell Of A Life" one of the "Top 30 Videos of 2009" on MySpace Music.

Earlier this week, roughly 500 Amazon customers were treated to a special early leak of Lil Wayne’s Rebirth LP due to a shipping mistake.  Amazon customers, who pre-ordered the February 2010 project, started receiving their copies of the new album. In spite of the huge success of Wayne’s Carter 3, the best selling album of 2008 (2.4 million), the rock-inspired Rebirth was unable to secure a release date in 2009 after suffering six delays.

The latest one was December 21, and one-third of the estimated 1 million manufactured copies have been sent to select retail outlets. Because of the leak, there is speculation the album may be reworked further for additional tracks. The first single, “Prom Queen,” debuted in January.

The latest official single, “On Fire,” was released on December 3 but overshadowed this week by the recent leak of the Eminem collaboration “Drop the World.”

Lil
Wayne’s last full project was October’s anticipated No Ceilings mixtape.

At press time, Lil Wayne nor Amazon representatives have commented on the leak.

Coming in at# 23 is JADAKISS "THE LAST KISS"
(Roc-A-Fella / Def Jam)

With the emergence of style-conscious rappers like Kid Cudi and Drake, 2009 might not have seemed like a great year for meat-and-potatoes MCs like Jadakiss. Never the less, the Yonkers native decided to let the rest of the world wear skinny jeans as he once again delivered an album full of hard-hitting rhymes and even harder-hitting beats. No, there weren't a lot of emotionally sung confessions or sugary grooves on The Last Kiss, but Jada still managed to make a stir by returning to rap's tried-and-true roots. “If you’re real and you know it, clap your hands,” he demanded on “Who’s Real.” And, the more you sat with The Last Kiss, the harder it was not to give him a round of applause.

Make sure you get your copy of "The Last Kiss" right here on MySpace Music at: www.myspace.com/jadakiss
