Hey guys,

We've been silent for some time but now we have some big news to share.

1. We are CHANGING OUR NAME.  This was a tough decision.  We've been Phoenix Down for about 5 years now, and the name carries a lot of memories for us.  But now that we've started producing better sounding music and are making a serious attempt at promoting ourselves outside of our comfort zone, we need internet visibility.  There are just too many Phoenix Downs on the internet, and we were getting swallowed up.  As of now, we are:

Knights Errant

The only change is in the name.  We've got new websites (listed at the bottom), so go check them out!

2.  NEW SONGS.  We've been sitting on new tracks for some time.  Heck, we meant to release them back in September!  But there has been a lot of delay getting them published and all that goes with it.  So we have decided to at least stream them online, so you all can hear what we've been doing.  They are on our new sites, under our new name, Knights Errant.

Hey guys and girls,

I am sitting at the computer with a huge headache, looking forward to almost 4 hours of sleep before Jerry and I start work tomorrow. Today we recorded ALL the drum tracks for our new ep, and Jerry played like a champ. We are really excited and stressed out and we just wanted to share this moment with you! Phoenix Down's first professional recording has begun!

It has begun. We start recording for a new ep this Tuesday. This will be our first professionally done cd, and we are super excited. For the next two weeks or so our lives will be consist of nothing but our jobs and recording, so wish us luck.

Hi Downers,

As you might have heard from our most recent Phoenix Rising, we will soon be releasing a new 7-song EP.  We will be working with the great engineer/producer Chris Sernel, making this our first set of recordings not done by ourselves.  Recording is set to start next week, and all could be done by the end of August.

Today our music got played by our friends over at Pirate Radio! They are a bunch of funny guys from the UK who seem cool enough so far (one can never be too careful o_O ).

Current mood:  accomplished
During the past year and half or so, Phoenix Down has been scattered across the country in different colleges.  But, we have been working hard during the breaks to find shows and record new material.
Over the last holiday break, we finished our new EP, 3.  Our  producing quality is always improving, and this EP has a great look  and sound that we are really happy about.  The EP is $3, or $4 by mail.  If you  are interested in buying it, send us a message with your address, and  we can ship it to you.
