I did this on Facebook, but it only seemed fair to share it with MySpace as well.

25 Random Things about me: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, etc.

1. I eat a lot of hot dogs.
2. My favorite pen is the Pilot Precise V5.
3. I despise copyright laws.
4. I have more Star Wars tattoos than you can count with both hands.
5. I took a correspondence P.E. class to graduate high school.
6. I've never seen the Atlantic Ocean.
7. I know nothing about cars and have always accepted hand-me-downs from much more knowledgable family members.
8. I was Michaelangelo in my group of four friends who thought we ruled the school in 4th Grade (Sam was Donatello, Andrew was Leo, and Josh was Raphael).
9. I bleed Dodger blue, but my favorite baseball player of all time, Nolan Ryan, never played for them.
10. I can't grow facial hair in any pattern that looks even half-decent.
11. I listen to NPR more than any other radio station.
12. My punishments growing up included: confiscation of my entire comic book collection, giving up the "big bedroom" to my little brother, eating dinner at the table with the family, and bringing home a 3x5 card everyday signed by the teacher with either a smiling or frowning face drawn on it to indicate whether or not I was good that day.
13. I had a lot of days in college where I did not actually talk to a single person all day.
14. I take a daily multivitamin and fish oil pills.
15. I grew up in the Rocky Mountains but have never gone skiing or snowboarding.
16. I did all of my own piercings, except for the first three (which were done at Claire's in the mall).
17. I probably spend too much on guitars and stuff....but come on!
18. For a few years there, my hair went through every color in the rainbow (not to mention an assortment of cuts).
19. I hate how DVDs sometimes have menus and previews that you can't skip or fast-forward through the way you could on VHS...yeah, let's pay more for new technology to inconvenience us!
20. I'm very conservative on issues of economic policy.
21. I read Disney Adventures magazine religiously in grade school.
22. I've been a Wildcat, an Eagle, a Trojan, a Cowboy, and a Viking.
23. I may have some road rage issues but nothing a little vehicular homicide can't fix.
24. I prefer Whoppers to Big Macs, but nothing beats a Tommy's Burger in L.A.
25. I have given up on my favorite band, Def Leppard, ever again making music that actually rocks.

Some of you have heard about my new band, Kiss Kill, up here in Portland.

We now have some rough recordings up on our MySpace profile, for anyone who is interested.

Current mood:  angry
So I'm out for a nice little ride on I-84 last night doing about 60 in the far left lane, when I see an object blow by this van in front of me and start heading towards me (really I guess I am moving towards it, but whatever).  Anyway, it appeared to be a large piece of cardboard from afar, but once it was actually close enough to identify it turned out to be a piece of sheetrock drifting in traffic.  I couldn't swerve to avoid it since there was traffic to my right, so I just drove straight on into it.  Fortunately, there wasn't too much damage.  It broke my side mirror and shot some glass into my car since I was driving with the window down, but other than that everything else seemed to be fine.  I was pissed though. I guess it would be tough to track down the asshole responsible, but if I could...man, there would be some fucking road rage.

I spent the past week in Casper, attending my third and final wedding of the summer.  They've all been fun, and I was certainly glad to have to the opportunity to catch up with so many people I hadn't seen in ages...but still - no more weddings!  At least for a little while.

On a more important note, it seems that Samantha, my favorite to win on Rock of Love, turned out to be a bit crazier than I initially suspected and as such has been eliminated in the running for Bret Michael's heart.  I guess now I will be rooting for Jes, although it looks like in next week's episode Brandi M. will be trying hard to impress me with her vomitting skills...I think we all know how cute and sexy that can be.

My dad called this afternoon to inform me that our chihuahua of 12 or so years, passed away unexpectedly last night.  It is sad, but I know he was a happy dog.  It's just too bad we won't get a chance to sing together again, something at which he was the best.

The girls played football in the mud last night on "Rock of Love."  Samantha wasn't very good at all - but she'll win in the end anyway, so what does it matter?

We've been talking about it for forever, but this past weekend we finally did it.  After an hour or so at the shelter, we came home with Gretal here. She kicks ass.

Tonight I tried to wash my hair with Noxzema facial exfoliator cream...and you'd be suprised how long I was actually in the "lather" stage of the shampoo process before I even realized what I was doing.

Need more sleep.

The only people I've tried playing any music with since moving up here said I wasn't a "good fit" for their band.  So naturally, I've reverted back to my one-man-band computer habits again.

I put a new song up today - it is the first thing I've made since leaving Laramie.  I ripped ideas off from a few legitimate artists in creating it.  Structurally - The Wunder Years.  Lyrically - Poe.  But those sweet-ass vocals are all mine.

Anybody remember my old guitar?...it was a piece of crap but it was covered with a bunch of stickers, the largest of which bore the message "Bong Hits 4 Jesus".

Apparently there's a case in Supreme Court right now, over some kid putting up a 14 foot banner in his school with that statement on it.

Free speech is cool - but nonsense is always cooler.
