Hey Everyone,
Its Spencer, Manager and resident redhead here haha that was dumb...I know.
Anyways, Andrea Hitchman (our Chief Photograher/Videographer) and myself had a wicked time this weekend at Marilyn Manson/Slayer/Bleeding Through on Friday and Warped Tour '07 on Saturday. At Manson/Slayer I did an interview with the bassist from Bleeding Through which will be posted soon. I hope you all enjoyed the show, it was actually better then I expected...aside from losing my cell phone haha. Which reminds me....
If you found a Samsung cell phone on the ground at the Molson Amphitheatre on Friday night, please message us, it was dead while the show was going on but it has some really important numbers on it. thanks!
After leaving the concert, I retreated to my buddy Mat from Forever and a Day's (
www.myspace.com/faadcore) apartment; Because I didn't have my cellphone I didn't have a way to wake up and so I did not sleep due to the fact that I had to be up for 6:30 am and gone for 7 am to catch a ride to Barrie at 8 am. Total balls, seriously byt the end of Saturday night I wasn't making any sense at all when I was talking.
Next was Vans' Warped Tour '07....wow...what a wicked concert, even better then last year in my opinion! It was a little dusty but whatever haha. I had the pleasure of interviewing As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage and Still Remains. It was awesome meeting everyone who seemingly recognized me from my interview with Rody from Protest the Hero. And like I told most of you, yes I know the interview was crap. But I was very under prepared, I was told I was interviewing All That Remains and and Threat Signal the night before the show and Protest the Hero like 3 hours before the show. And I also apologize for being so tired on Saturday and rude if I was at all, like I said before, I hadn't slept in more then a day. However, the fact that people are starting to know who we are is a good thing because it means the site is growing and that just means more interviews for you guys to watch and contests for you to enter! So keep telling all your friends to check us out!
After the show was all said and done, Andrea and I stayed for the after party/barbecue backstage. It was awesome and I met the guitarist from Bad Religion! The band that was playing was awesome and I definetely recommend checking them out at
www.myspace.com/staylefish. Unfortunately, Park Place is going to be torn down and Warped Tour this year was the last concert there....ever. But atleast we got these wicked Myspace Music bandanas for free. I don't think they were available at the concert so I felt special haha.
In any case, Andrea and I had a wicked weekend and I finally got some sleep on the ride home. We will be posting the interviews and pictures from both concerts on the site soon! So keep checking back for updates!
peace&&love<3
