Everything is recorded now! We have started mixing the new album as well as the stuff for the upcoming split releases. Mikko Saastamoinen who mastered "Fulfill the Curse" will be taking care of the mastering of all material again.

For Halloweens sake here comes the album update!
The new album is coming along great. Everything is recorded except for the vocals. The stuff sounds H E A V Y ! ! !
The working title of the album is "NEVER CROSS THE DEAD". Here are some of the song titles: "NIGHT OF THE DEATHCULT", THE HOUSE OF HAMMER", "FROM THEIR COFFINED SLUMBER".

Hooded Menace will be featured on a Finnish compilation CD "Metal on Metal - IVth Crusade" with a track "Theme from Tenebre" (originally by Goblin) that the band recorded in 2008.
"Metal on Metal" is compiled by Immu from Slugathor and the compilation will include Finnish bands only. So far the bands confirmed besides Hooded Menace are: Stench of Decay, Irritate, Serpent Ascending, Coprofagi, OfDoom and Cadaveric Incubator. This awesome review to the Finnish underground metal scene is to be released Summer-Fall 2010.

We are heading for the studio on October 24th to record the drum tracks for the second Hooded Menace album. We will be laying down the drum tracks for all the three upcoming split releases also. So there will be plenty of rotting slow death crawling up from the tombs of the Blind Dead!

Since we all three members havent really had time to get together for the rehearsals we have decided to continue as a duo with Lasse on vocals, guitars & bass and Pekka on drums. We are heading for the studio in late October so this will be the line up on the 2nd Hooded Menace album and on all the upcoming three split 7"EPs. No drama. This is the best solution to all of us.

We have a couple of split releases lined up for the future and one of them will be with the mighty ASPHYX! The 7"EP will be released by Doomentia Records.
From all the new material we have been writing since "Fulfill the Curse" album, we picked up a song called "The Haunted Ossuary" for this release. It is an exclusive song that wont be on our new full length album.
