It's going to take a few weeks still for iTunes et al to have my new album online. So in the meantime, I have pressed just a few CDs which will be signed and numbered (by me, of course!) to those who want to have a special, 1st-edition copy of the "Love Like Everyone" album.

These CDs don't have barcodes and are probably going to be the only ones like this—personally handled by me throughout the whole process! They are $17 which includes S&H.

And if you come to a gig, they will be available (while supplies last.) However, those will not be numbered or signed.

I'm happily back in NYC after my whirlwind West Coast trip. Thanks to everyone in LA and SF who came out to support! It meant a lot to me and I was really happy with how well the new songs went over live.

Now I'm back in NYC to start rehearsing with new musicians here (tho Brent will still be playing with me, thankfully!) 

TWO big shows at the end of the month, with the party on the 28th being my "Totally Official" record release.

And I've posted a new song off Love Like Everyone. To be honest, I think this is my absolute favorite off the record. It's called "Brother" and it features my own dad on clarinet. It's also a super-personal song as well as a universal one about love and war. Hope you like it as much as I do.

In the meantime, I hope all you LA-ers are getting ready for my gig this Saturday. It's the kickoff of the "Love Like Everyone" record release tour! We had a long rehearsal last night and it's sounding good—very different from anything you may have seen/heard me do previously, if you've ever been to a show of mine. So I hope to see you!!!

Here's a first look at the album cover of "Love Like Everyone." Hope you like it as much as I do!

And I've posted a new song from the album, called "Lullaby." This is probably the "oldest" song on the record, one I wrote years ago and never got around to recording. But I love this recording of it, not least of which because there are some great musicians on it, including bass legend Mike Watt. And who I think is the best female guitarist around, Jen Turner. She's actually just one of the best guitarists around, period.

I'm also posting the "generique" (as they call it in French—opening credits) of a TV show in France which is using my song "Uh Oh (Na Na)" as their theme song. Ooh la la!!!
