Paul McCartney was interviewed by Stephen Colbert for his show "The Colbert Report" on Comedy Central last night.  Paul, as always, is in on the joke.  If you missed it...here it is for your viewing pleasure:

Last night we had our WILD 105.5 Christmas Party and we'd like to send out a mahalo to Greg of 'The Ed and Greg Show', Anuhea, Jay J and The Jhiz for hanging on the air with us.  We discussed Christmas and had a wonderful meal that is still got us bloated.  Big shout out to the Christmas MC - RYAN P plus Ed and DJ Skinny Guy too!

It must be Christmas at The Time Machine because while we were busy selecting songs to play on the air today we ended up overbooking musical guests on the show today.  We have too many songs and too many guests so we will really be flying by the seat of our Christmas pants.

The line-up so far includes:

MIKE VIOLA

Just a quick reminder about those of you who listen online who do not live in Arizona or Hawaii. These two states do not participate in Daylight Savings so if you're anywhere else in the United States we are on an hour earlier today. Today's radio show brings us a wide variety of musical artists as guests on the program beginning with SHAWNEE SMITH from the duo SMITH and PYLE. Shawnee and her musical partner MISSI PYLE have an album titled "It's OK To Be Happy". Missi is currently performing on Broadway which means with the time difference that Shawnee will be solo on our show. Shawnee's been busy with the latest "Saw" film and her television series on VH-1 so it will be nice to unwind and talk music. ROB BONFIGLIO returns to The Time Machine to discuss his latest solo album "Bring On The Happy". The album made it's world broadcast debut a couple of weeks ago and we'll be featuring all of the songs again on today's show. MIKE CLARK from THE SMITH BROTHERS will also be sharing his musical thoughts as we discuss his band's latest album "Restless" plus ZAC ANTHONY from THE WELLINGTONS is also joining in on the festivities before heading back to Melbourne to chat about the band's new album "Heading North For The Winter".

We'll also feature brand new songs from artists; Jim Boggia, Kelly Jones, Rachael Yamagata and Nushu. Happy Birthday to Nushu's HILLARY BURTON. Other albums slowly getting stacked for airplay in the studio so far include Steely Dan for our mid day Radio DJ God Ryan P. (who can't get enough of Steely Dan) and Ken Sharp.

Drop on by the Radio Chat Room.  We'll be on for just a tad over three hours.  You can listen to the FM stream online by using the "radio" button and say hello to us if you'd like to.  Here's the link:

Today's radio show brings us a very special talented artist as our guest.  ROBIN DANAR has an album titled "Altered States" that is filled with sonic revisions for the soundtrack of a dream.  We've been playing all the songs off of this album on the air the past six to seven months.  Featured artists on his album include:

JULIANNA RAYE

GARY JULES and THE STRING QUARTET

JIM BIANCO

INARA GEORGE

PAUL BUCHANAN

QUINCY COLEMAN

MINIBAR

RACHAEL YAMAGATA

PETE YORN and KINKY

JULIAN CORYELL

LISA LOEB and STEVE REYNOLDS

JESCA HOOP

ANDY LEVIN and HOLLY PALMER

Robin will be our guest for the first part of our six hour radio show so it should be very interesting and filled with talented artists tackling musical styles that aren't normally their forte'.

We'll also feature brand new songs from artists; Ingrid Michaelson, Smith and Pyle, Pretenders and Rob Bonfiglio.   Other albums slowly getting stacked for airplay in the studio so far include; Fountains Of Wayne, Raspberries, Don Henley, Dexter Freebish, Burton Cummings, The Lemonheads, Old 97's, Freddy "Boom Boom" Cannon, Richard X. Heyman, David Bowie, The Romantics, Blondie, Mike Viola, Neil Diamond, Linda Perry and Mandy Moore.

It appears that we've only pulled music for one hour with five hours left to fill.  It looks like we're winging it again.

Drop on by the Radio Chat Room.  We'll be on for a fun six hours.  You can listen to the FM stream online by using the "radio" button and say hello to us if you'd like to.  Here's the link:

Singer-songwriter Kelly Jones has released her third album titled "SheBANG!" produced and arranged by Mike ViolaAdam Schlesinger from Fountains Of Wayne and Ivy also co-wrote a song with Kelly for her album.  Michael McCartney mentioned on the air the other day that the album is so catchy and melodic it's as if early Marshall Crenshaw and the Bangles decided to work together.

Kelly Jones will be our radio guest today in Hawaii.   Joining us before hand will be Washington musician and guitar builder Mike Conklin.  He'll sit in my seat at the console and play some songs for you.  At least that's the plan.  The show starts soon and we haven't heard yet from him for directions to the studio.

Drop on by the Radio Chat Room we affectionately call the "Group W Bench" with apologies to Pop Garden Radio.  You can listen to the FM stream online by using the "radio" button and can also ask Kelly any questions that you may have or just shoot the breeze with other artists and music afficianados.  Here's the link:

BRIAN KASSAN from the band CHEWY MARBLE will be our musical guest today plus he will be guest DJ.  Brian brought a suitcase of CDs to Maui to spin on the FM dial for you so it should be a treat.  We'll also hear the latest batch of songs from Chewy Marble's recent release "Modulations".

While we wait for Brian to reach the studio after catching some rays at the beach, we will also be playing brand new music from RACHAEL YAMAGATA, BRIAN RAY plus some classic songs from NICK LOWE and BADFINGER.  That's all we pulled out from the station's music library so far as Brian Kassan should be bringing in a truckload of songs to play for three hours.  We're cruising right now and hope to see you drop by the Radio Chat Room we affectionately call the "Group W Bench" with apologies to Pop Garden Radio.  You can listen to the FM stream online by using the "radio" button and can also ask Brian any questions that you may have or just shoot the breeze with other artists and music afficianados.  Here's the link:
