Here is a short piece written for us by a very talented fan and friend of the band. Enjoy!

Under the night terrace of the café, you sit, alone, and dream of a life, long lost. You sip the deep yearning of Portugal moonlights, and stir in the starry seas of ennui, and cry: "has this life been for mere regret?", and toil over the passions that have since sailed away. Then, without warning, you hear the soothing sounds of an accordion. You lift your head: what is this? Is there hope yet? Have the gods finally answered my tears? A soft light glows in the café window, illuminating three figures of grand stature. You press your ear to the glass, the soft deep thudding of the bass in-sync with your heartbeats, the crisp strings of a guitar pluck at its knots, until it unravels. My God what is that sound? The tender melody of that squeezebox, like your mother's sweet lullabies, caresses your fears, letting you know it's not all in vein. You press harder against the glass, until you feel the warmth of the music running through, filling you with pith. You scream out: It's okay world, I'm here, I'm okay, I live, and breath, and… Suddenly the music stops. The three musicians gaze upon your trembling, sweating, naked body, and say to you: "Hey buddy, why don't get the hell away from the window, we're trying to play in here. Fuckin' weirdo."

Hey Gang!

The following is an all too kind review from a fellow musician that caught us playing
at the Broadripple Art Fair. We'd like to say thanks for such a great review and check out his
website...

Having attended 2 days of the Broadripple Arts Fair in Indianapolis, (1 day merely as an attendee and the second performing jazz steelpan with two ensembles) my weekend culminated with a most pleasant surprise.
Tonos Triad, performing on the Radio Now Cafe Stage (where I was with Jan Aldrich 6 hours earlier), had the uncanny and most deserved ability of stopping people in their tracks. Truly the most unique ensemble of the weekend one must offer the obligatory description. i.e. "What do they sound like Tom? " Well, I'm glad you asked dear reader!
Let's see...
If modern Basque music was performed by Django Reinhart, then slowed down, you'd get Tonos Triad.
Wait...too esoteric?
OK...How about this?
The sound of a Parisian cafe as filtered through the brain of Mark Mothersbaugh.
No?
All right fine!
To say they are unique is an understatement. To say they are one of a kind in Indianapolis is scientific fact! Yevgeny(guitar), Aaron(bass), and Rod (accordian, percussion-by way of suitcase, and something called a Xaphoon) create an oddly syncopated yet melodic sound that will simultaneously have you tapping your feet, humming the tunes and thinking "what the hell are they doing?"
It takes a lot for a unique ensemble to be accessible. For an "artsy" group to not come across as indulgent.
These 3 lads clearly have an understanding of what this music is and if the listener takes a mere 10 seconds of their life they'll become hooked.

See them as soon as you can.
Keep it up guys!

Greetings Friends of the Triad,

Tonos Triad is looking for some friends who might be able to create some graphics for our CD's posters & T-Shirts.

We have a small budget in the way of financial compensation, and we will promote your artwork as much as possible. If we get rich and famous, we'd be more than happy to share the wealth!

Thanks,

Tonos Triad
