Hello everyone! Jordan here.
My lady friend was sending me a lot of mp3s of her favorite songs. I noticed there was something noticeably different about them, compared to the bulk of music that I listen to. Then it hit me: Sexy, sultry male voices. I realized the music I love has decidedly unsexy (in the eyes of the mainstream, at least) voices. Here is a run down:
They Might Be Giants: Nasal, dorky Violent Femmes: Nasal, creepy Magnetic Fields: Flat, subdued, monotone Morrissey: Effeminate, can be seen as sexy but only in a strange, weird way (based on interviews and lyrics, i.e. is he celibate? bisexual? not sexual?), too cynical to be truly "sexy" in that comfortable way. David Byrne: stringy, high pitched, strange Pixies/early Frank Black: Scary, whiny Later Frank Black: Tough, funny Rheostatics: Canadian David Lowery (Cracker/Camper Van Beethoven): Rough, Ironic Soul Coughing/M. Doughty: Ok, sexy, but in an upbeat, strange, somewhat unaccessable way. XTC (early): Dog-like barking XTC (later): Poppy, fun, cheesy Ben Folds: This is a tough one...Youthful?Whatever it is, it sure ain't sexy. Weird Al Yankovic: Nasal, annoying
So there you have it! Arguably not a sexy, sultry, manly voice in the bunch!

Hello everyone!
For a long time now, this was a myspace page for any and all music by me, Jordan Cooper.
It still basically is. BUT -- Now that my band has a name, Trouble's Afoot, I have decided to re-name the page. Trouble's Afoot is me, Dave Fox and Chris Roberts.
It is still basically the same, except more band oriented.
More solo music can be seen at my website www.jordancooperlalala.com
and my mp3 of the week blog, http://jordansmp3oftheweek.blogspot.com
I will work on getting some new band recordings to put up soon!

Is it too much to ask to be fed grapes? I just want a woman (or
several women) to put on robes and feed me grapes for a few hours.
I mean, jesus. I LIKE GRAPES OK? I really like grapes. BUT I HATE
TOUCHING THEM. Probably more than I hate touching diseased dead
animals or feces. I CAN'T TOUCH GRAPES.
Is it too much to ask for 50 women to line up and each one steps up
and feeds me one single grape, repeat, repeat, for like...12 hours?
After they feed me a grape they can go home!! I don't care! They
can go to the mall for all I care.
My mouth is open, ladies. Let's have it.

"Nah, no thanks."
"Chex Mix? Want? Right?"
"Ugh, no. NO."
What the fuck? TAKE SOME. It's GOOD.

Oh my god!
Me and my friend Dave were at Flagship diner tonight, when I discovered an amazing price loophole!
So check this out. Backstory: Sometimes I like to order cereal in a diner. Sometimes I like to order fruit salads. It's true, I won't deny it. End of backstory.
Cereal and Fruit salads are both ridiculously overpriced at about 4 dollars each. (Isn't an entire box of cereal around the same price as the small handful that you get at a diner?) This is the case at the Flagship Diner.
The menu, however, reads THIS (prices are from memory, not totally accurate):
Fruit salad: 4.00
Cereal. With Milk : 3.75 With fruit salad: 4.25
So I asked the waiter, "If I get the cereal with fruit salad, is the fruit salad on the side? And the cereal comes with milk?"
He said yes.
HAHAHAHAHA!!! I ordered it! I got 2 things for the price of one!! HAHAHA!!!! A whole bowl of cereal and a fruit salad!!
