We're celebrating our last show in a good, long while with a night of ultrafun at the lovely Parkteateret in Oslo.
We're extremely proud to present two of the world's leading artists within dark ambient and noise music as supporting acts for this night.
Svarte Greiner (N): Oslo-based Erik Skodvin is the man behind Svarte Greiner, and has with his releases through Type Records proven himself as being at the very forefront of dark electronic music. Svarte Greiner uses guitar noise, string samples and scarce rhythms to create waves of sound which will send your imagination speeding. There's a cinematic quality to his music which is hard to pigeon hole, as if classic horror films were set to half tempo, moving slowly and gracefully while maintaining an intuitive feel. When Fever Ray went on tour this spring she requested Svarte Greiner to support her. No wonder.
Kangding Ray (FR): David Letellier started out as a rock musician before he moved to Berlin and created Kangding Ray. Releasing his records on spitzenklasse label Raster Noton he stands out from the crowd by making more song- and progression based music than most of his peers. His music is based around acoustic samples as well as walls of noise, but still manage to lure in people who're not normally into electronic music to pay attention. Fans of Massive Attack, Fennesz, Apparat, Telefon Tel Aviv, Khonnor and Pantha du Prince will love Kangding Ray.
All this fun will only cost you 100nok.
Hope to see u all there!

We've got lots of cool shows to look forward to this summer, gonna play many'a festival around the country and get the chance to see loads of great bands. Did we remind all of you lot going to Storås to check out Wave Machines, by the way? Amazing band, amazing album, and a must see in the woods in August.
We're still booking more dates, and it looks like we'll be doing some club shows with one of our favourite Norwegian bands in August. More on that to come.
Also, make sure you pencil down the 28th of August in your filofaxes. The show at Parkteateret will be as exciting as spiritually possible, and we're gonna pack the bill with awesome jaw-droppers from different genres and countries. May easily turn out to be the best night out on the town this year. Deal?

Earlier this week Magne fell seriously ill and had to be rushed to the hospital with a body bursting with weird symptoms. And his body is long enough to host a whole lot of them. He's now back home in bed resting, with strict orders stay there the next couple of weeks, which means that we're forced to cancel our shows in Trondheim and Oslo this week and next week.
This is unbelievably frustrating, as we've been looking forward to these shows for a looong long time now, and believe me when I say that if there was a shred of hope of us doing them we'd do them (the shows, that is).
On the flip side we've already managed to pin down a new Oslo date, so we'll be throwing an even better party for all of you on May 6th, at Blå!
Meanwhile, rip our album from some noble friend of yours and start practising your dance moves.

We've uploaded a new track on our myspace called That Style You Like Is Going To Come Back, not That Style You Like Is Going To Come Bac as it says on our player because myspace did not under any circumstance give us permition to have more - than - 40 - character - song - titles. If we'd known then what we know now we'd probably called the song something else like "Donkey" or "Honk if you're horny" or even both? (less than 40 characters)
To make things even more confusing a version of "Style" was mastered by Simon Cullwick (our producer) as the b-side for our New Year-single released earlier this year and it's still available on Itunes, Napster etc. This version however is the album version mastered by Metropolis Mastering.
So ladies and gentlemen, dolls and toys, we bring you the opening track of our new album (released 20th of April):
"(Fill in your own title but keep it less than 40 characters if you want to put it on myspace")
PS! Thanks SIgh & Explode for inviting us to join them at their terror-gig at Garage yesterday. It was a blast. Please check out their album "These seem like Tarantulas" (hmmm less than 40 characters....clever boys, very clever)
