We're currently in the studio recording our first album. We REALLY want to have the finished product in hand for our West Coast tour, which commences on September 17th. We are going to do everything within our control to make that happen. To all of you who pray: we need help with the things which are out of our control, for this is, in human terms, quite possibly an impossible goal. But let's not waste our time thinking in human terms. Gravely serious about that.

In her book "When Things Fall Apart", Pema Chodron tells a story about her teacher, Trungpa Rinpoche. Rinpoche was travelling on foot with some fellow monks. They encountered a wild dog, who was poised to attack. The party was not going to be able to outrun the vicious animal. Rinpoche, applying his philosophy about fear, ran directly at the dog. Surprisingly, the beast was so shocked that it took off running in the opposite direction.
