We (by we I mean, Jeramiah only) designed a new family blog for us. It'll keep everyone that cares updated on family happenings. It's pretty bad ass, so tune in regularly.

I recently had an awesome experience at the dentist. I had to get two crowns and some fillings done and after crying in front of the dentist (yeah, embarrassing), he decided conscious sedation would be best for me. I went in on July 1st. They gave me a pill under my tongue and had me watch tv for an hour so the medication could take effect. They check my vitals when I first got there and my blood pressure was up and my heart was racing...lol. Anyways, the doctor and everyone there was SO nice! When it was finally time, I wasn't feeling much of the medication, but didn't feel nervous because I was gonna be getting nitrous oxide too (or maybe the med was working, I don't know). Everything took like 3 1/2 hours, but it honestly felt like 15 minutes. I thought I was awake for the whole thing, but I guess not. Anyways, by far the BEST experience I have ever had at the dentist. I can't even say how great it was. I chose this dentist because he specializes in people that hate the dentist and I'm so happy I found him. In other news, the whole pool thing is coming along. They came by yesterday and spray painted where the pool is gonna go and put the Shasta sign in the front yard! I guess they should be breaking ground soon! The dogs already pooped in the pool (well the spray painted area atleast :)) We are done with our weekend road trips! In the past 2 months, we have been out of town almost every weekend. We went to California twice, Pinetop-Lakeside twice, Kansas, and Albuquerque. I have to work this Saturday, but it will be nice to have a weekend where we don't have any travelling to do.

I went and signed the last paperwork for the sale of the house today. The buyers sign on Monday. The inspecter decided that he wanted to change his original inspection, so I need to go back tomorrow after work and do a few quick changes for the re-re-inspection this weekend.  Alex is nice enough to help out AGAIN with this. He is awesome. I am forever in debt to you Alex (or we can settle right now for 20 dollars) Hopefully, Alex and I can locate the imaginary gap in the firebox and fill it. My realtor is being AWESOME and meeting the inspecter with one of his fix-it guys, just in case we don’t locate the gap. He will have the inspecter show him specifically where this crack is and he will take care of it right ther. Mike is awesome, and has been much more helpful than my actual realtor (I think he’s the owner or something). Anyways, I will feel SO much better after this is done. Even once you find a buyer, it’s still a buyers market and they can drop out at anytime. Luckily, Mike said that they are very motivated so things should be fine. Pray for us!!

So, we have been in our house for over a week and things are going great. We are completely unpacked (except for pictures that we need to paint before we hang them). We will be going out this weekend and buying a new couch and maybe a table. The house is certainly bare and we will need to do a lot of painting and buying of new things to fill out the place. This new house is a lot more than double the size of my little 1450 sq ft house. The only part that is complete is our kitchen. Most of our wedding gifts and wedding money was spent on the kitchen. I will eventually be posting some pics, but we haven't taken any since we moved in.

The dogs love the new place, they love playing on the stairs. Kitty has also been doing very well. For those who don't know, she is blind. On our first night here she managed to make it halfway up the stairs and all over the bottom floor. Now she spends most of her time upstairs. She gets around very well, which is good because we were worried she would be all confused.

We went out for dinner with our realtor and his family tonight, they are all awesome. We have met a few of our neighbors and they all seem very nice.  Tonight we met some people down the street that have 3 dogs. One was a lab, one a lab mix and then a black pug! The came running over to play when we came out to take them out on a bike ride. Duke and Oscar are looking forward to going to the Mutt March on March 8th. It's a walk and event to raise money for a dog park in Maricopa. Oscar is entered in the Sloppiest Kiss contest, so we will see if he wins.

We went out on a long bike ride with the dogs today and it just makes us love the area even more. It's so quiet and feels so safe. The coolest part is that you can see SO many stars! There are two parks within walking distance of our house, one has tennis courts, a lake, baseball fields, basketball courts, bbq's, etc.

Wow, that was a long post. So long, yet so full of information. Ok, that is all.

Current mood:  optimistic
We did a walkthrough of the new house with a Centex guy today. He went over all the features of the house and we pointed out little scuffs here and there that needs to be fixed before we move in. We have been trying to sell some of the furniture in my house that we will be replacing (which is pretty much all of it). I sold my entertainment center today, so there is one thing. I think we will wait to sell the bedroom set and couches until we get settled. With working and packing we haven't had much time to go out looking at new furniture. Anyways, we are really excited about getting a new chapter opened.

We have had no hits on my house yet. Several people have looked, but no offers yet. We had someone come and look today, so maybe we will hear something back. The place is full of boxes, so we are just wanting to get out of the place, get the yard detailed and the carpets cleaned

In other news, why in the hell do your "friends" disappear when they find a new love interest? Luckily, I have too much pride to "chase" friends. I know as soon they are single again they will be back to calling/texting every day. All you can really count on is your family and a FEW choice friends. You guys know who you are and I LOVE YOU ALL!

Ok, I'm done.

Well, things are happening faster than we thought. We went out looking at houses a few weeks ago and we bought one!!! We got an amazing deal! The house is >3200 sq ft and has $80,000 in upgrades. Among other stuff, we have an amazing kitchen with everything upgraded! Our stair rails are sooo nice too. One of my favorite things is that we have speakers installed in the ceiling in the living room and on the back patio! We will be getting the rest of the house wired at some point. The house is a spec home, so the upgrades were already picked. The house is just about finished and will be ready to move in on 2/18!!! We will be living just a couple miles from Jeramiah's brother and wife. We never really get to see them, so I'm excited to get to see them more.

We, of course, put my house on the market and things are going well with that. It has barely been on the market a week and we have had several people looking and one lady that is REALLY interested and my realtor is seeing if she is prequalified. Even if she doesn't work out, we have a lot of options. We are very excited about all the people that like the place. Hopefully it will sell soon, but we weren't anticipating the house sell very fast and can more than afford both mortgages.

Anyways, just thought I would let everyone know.

Current mood:  excited
So there are 24 full days until our wedding. I can't believe time has gone by so fast. Luckily, I have OCD so I have everything under control. Our honeymoon is just about completely planned out (and paid for too). We are going to Europe for 2 weeks! Where in Europe you may be asking yourself...well we're going to Paris, Munich, Venice and Rome. I've never been there so I'm very excited. My mom is nice enough to watch our dogs for the time that we're gone. Luckily she has no idea what she's getting herself into. Hahahaha. Anyways, now we're just getting the last little pieces together for the wedding. Our families start coming in a week before the wedding to help with the final details. Our families have been VERY helpful with getting the wedding organized.

Not too much else is going on (I think all the wedding stuff is more than enough).
The dogs are doing good, we're still working on getting Oscar to stop peeing on the carpets. I don't think he's done it in a week or so. Usually when I mention it, he does it right after that.

Work is work, and I try to make it as little part of my life as possible. I'm just thankful that I get a paycheck every two weeks.

So, the wedding is October 26th at 5pm!!! If you're coming, PLEASE be there at least 15 minutes before. We have serious issues with the sun setting and getting pictures done after the wedding, so the ceremony WILL be starting exactly at 5pm. Getting to the place is fairly difficuly, on our website we have a link called "directions" that will give you turn by turn directions from your address to the place. If you're confused please msg me. The web site is Jennyandjeramiah.com. Also, if you haven't already....MAIL IN YOUR RSVP!! :)

Also, if we offended anyone by not inviting you, we apologize. We are mostly paying for this wedding ourselves and we are trying to keep it as small as possible.

For those of you that don't know, Jeramiah and I got engaged a couple weeks ago! We will be getting married on October 26th! Jeramiah made a website for it and you can read details of the proposal, the wedding, and pics and videos at www.jennyandjeramiah.com.

We also got another dog. He is a yellow lab and we named him Oscar. Now Duke has some company when we are away at work. He's much better behaved than Duke, but Duke is starting to teach him some bad habits :).

Current mood:  surprised

So, I'm pretty bummed about last night's American Idol. For starters, I really liked that Jared guy. I don't think he could have won, but he deserved a place in the top 12. Antonella...yes I'm glad she went home. But c'mon, why is Haley even on there still? Sabrina is REALLY good, she could have been in the top 5. I don't get it. I know it's so early for me to be getting upset about that stuff. On a better note, I REALLY like Melinda.

The Suns! Love them! Love them! I'm so excited for them this season. The only reason they aren't right there next to the Mavericks is because of Nash's shoulder injury. I've been hoping the Dirk breaks a leg or something like that. We could get the title no problem if that happened. I guess all we can do is hope.
