I am just stoping in to  inform you of what we have been up to!

We have been hard at work.....we have broken down our band and rebuild it...
I have wrote like 7 new songs and were looking to record them soon...

we will have a new ep done by aug 30th....we have a deadline we have to meet..but i can talk about it now......

if all works out with it, it will mean new big things for our band!!

Man the Mighty plays second to Alterbridge at the Rave in Milwaukee...

Hundreds turned out for a high powered, high octane performance by all three bands including Troys Boys, Man the Mighty and, of course, Alterbridge. Man the Mighty tore up the stage with a one hour set of MTM trashing. Though guitarist Tim Tournier had a couple electronic flubs the show was nearly flawless. Video coming soon here to MTM MySpace for those of you who missed out, you know who you are, shame, shame. More to come.

i just wanted to stop in and post some new info! were going to be recording again in june. were plaining on doing a 5 to 6 song ep. call The Sawisch Sessions.

were going to be recording with scott bond agian...he is the fuckin man when it comes to all things recording!

I came up with the name of the new ep...i think its a nice way to saygoodbuy to my friend luke sawisch who pasted away almost a  year ago.

all of the songs are for him. there about him or about the way i see life now that he is gone....the sound is still man the mighty, but an older man the mighty.

were going to play again soon at clearwater(all ages) and spot light the new ep, that way everyone can hear it and give us feedbakc before we record.

On Monday night our friend and roadie Luke passed away. He was more than those things though, he was our brother. Luke was the type of guy who would do anything for you at anytime. He could make you laugh no matter what, and its so hard to believe that he is gone. We have so many amazing memories with him and even though its sad to think that we wont be able to make new ones, we will never forget him.  Please keep Luke and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Luke, we love you and will most definitely miss you, but we know that you will always be here with us. Keep rockin' brother!

Lucas J. (Luke) Sawisch
Lucas (Luke) J. Sawisch, 26 of Carpentersville, died Monday, April 23, 2007 at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Born June 23, 1980 in Melrose Park, he was the son of Peter and Marilyn (Hohmeier) Sawisch. Lucas was an active roadie for local rock band, Man the Mighty, and is remembered for his love of live music performances. He is preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Hohmeier, grandparents, Peter and Elenore Sawisch, and Uncle, James Sawisch. Lucas is survived by his fiance', April Cikowski, father, Peter A. Sawisch, two brothers Peter J. (Michelle) Sawisch and Greg Kaplon, three sisters, Tammy (Kevin) Smith, Tina (Chris) Huber and Becky Kaplon, and 11 nieces and nephews, Megan, Trevor and Jacob Smith, Cody, Cameron and Courtney Huber, Collin, Madison and Morgan Sawisch, Taylor and Shelby Kaplon, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at O'Connor-Leetz Funeral Home with The Rev. James Benzing, officiating. just wanted to stop in and say that the new cd is done. it sounds great!!!!! we took our time on this and really love every last part of it! we are playing saturday april 14 at clearwater in west dundee for our cd release show. we  have tickets for the show, so if you would like to come please buy one or more from us.

we just wanted to say thank you to all of the people in out lives that has been by our side for the past 8 years. your guys rule!

the band is doing great....this line up is the best i think we have ever had. recording is coming along very well. derek is almost done and we jsut started to do two more songs!!!  so the cd is going to have 14 songs. i have very proud of it and i hope you guy will enjoy it aswell.

as for me, i have been writin almost everyday.....i just keep getting ideas!! we almost have a whole other cd readly....which is a good thing because we are shopping this one( the night) around to record companys and a company called t2k which loves it....so we will see what happens!!!
