...seems way too important to be in Illinois.  This is a really major city in a state that is frankly not set up to handle it.

...to save its owner, there's gotta be a hundred that dial 7-4-1. Then probably another thousand that dial a shoe.

This month we will be reading the title of a book written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez (a man). Once you have read the title, feel free to discuss.

title: "One Hundred Years Of Solitude"

Discussion starter: This title seems kinda long to me. Yet, in a way, it leaves me wanting more.

...because I think it's important to support my local Barnes & Noble.  They've been around since the late 90's and I would hate to see all that tradition slip away.

During the male downhill skiing I had two english muffins, one with butter and the other one with chopped up egg, no mayo. next was short course speed skating. I had another english muffin and I opened a can of chicken chili with black beans. I added hot souce. Then was the snowboarding half pipe. I don't really understand how they score this sport, except it's clear that falling does not help your score. I ate two wasa crackers and had a medifast protein shake. An american won the gold and I had another protein shake and an apple and another english muffin with butter.

This should be a great trip.  I have from Dec 23 to Jan 2, and I want an adventure.  But if I pick a place or trip too crazy, I won’t end up going.  That said, I want to go far, far away, although I don’t have so much time that I can lose days and days in travel.  I may have trouble getting last minute airfare to popular destinations.

I love nature and the wilderness but I don’t know how to survive in it.  I like the third world but I fear confronting the horrors of mass starvation and extreme poverty.  I get claustrophobic in big cities.  I like the beach but get bored easily.  I only speak English and I only understand Swedish.  I will be going alone and if I meet some fun people (and dare I think it, a lady) I will remember this trip forever as a great one.  But if I get lonely I will become very sad and possibly spiral into deep depression.  I have a variety of food allergies and shouldn’t ever be too far from decent medical help.  I enjoy recreational drugs and would like to get some easily without getting arrested.

So…any ideas?

People should be aware that suicide pacts are non-binding. No one can make you do that to yourself. You can enter into as many as you want, as often as you want. But murder- suicide pacts, those should be entered into extremely carefully.

Everyone likes guys who really, really, really like kids, but no one likes a child molester.
