So, it may come as a surprise to some, or some may have been expecting it since we formed... But we are breaking up. Having members live in different cities and being able to keep us all organized has become way too much for all of us. I know we haven't been a band for too long so this will probably result in not that many people caring about us breaking up, but whatever, we had fun with the shows we did play and it allowed us all, especially myself, to put fourth a lot of passion in to the music we wrote. I, personally, expected this band to go a lot further than it did, I will miss playing shows with these guys and I can honestly say I have made a few best friends in this band. I'm sad that this has come to such a short end, but myself, Brent and Kyle will be moving forward in a different musical group with a different sound and a newly found appreciation for writing/playing music. Tonight at the Vinyl will more than likely be our last show, there are thoughts of doing a complete final show in Guelph/Toronto when Brent gets home from British Columbia... But with the way things are going I'm pretty sure no one will give a shit. Thank you to J Cloth for the two legitimate shows we played, thank you to Ryan Black for making our Myspace look amazing, thank you to Karl from Misery Signals for helping us with exposure and just being a solid enough dude to come and do a song with a smaller band, thank you to everyone who came to a show, rocked our banner on Myspace, or helped us out in anyway. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Keep your ears and eyes open for us in the near future.

Tomorrow we are finishing up our set and are getting promo pictures done! HOLY FUCK!
Personally, I am excited to get the set over and done with. I was contemplating death for the longest time rather than finishing this thing up. It's hard making sure there are no boring parts and to keep the set interesting and not sounding the same and all that junk. Pretty much, we just want to entertain you.
Promo pictures will be alright. 5 okay looking dudes in/around a school. Should be kinda lame, but we need them and we are very poor and cheap so you're gonna have to deal with it for now until we sign to a major label and get five thousand dollar promos taken where we wear makeup and look all post modern. But until then, this will have to do.
By the Between the Buried and Me show, we should have merch for you to buy and look rad infront of your friends with. We SHOULD have a long sleeve and a tshirt design (but 2 colours to choose from! wooo!) So far the ideas are sweet and the colours are pretty cool too! But shhh! I'm not telling!
So in a week and a half we have almost 7,000 plays on our myspace. If you are reading this...THANK YOU! If you havent noticed, Our song Oh, Casanova features Misery Signals singer, Karl Schubach. And really we cannot thank him enough. Such a solid dude and such a solid band. We've been getting floooods of emails from kids begging us to play their rural setting. Now trust me, we would love to tour the world and I'd personally love to take a piss on/near the eiffel tower and take lame tourist photos of me pretending to lean on the leaning tower of pizza. But....yeah fuck. we are so poor.
We are planning on playing everywhere in Ontario before August and HOPEFULLY Canada before September aswell, and maybe make a little journey or two to the U.S of A.
Thanks for the support! Keep sending us messages, comments and tell your friends! We have a banner on our page, so go put that on your page too!
-SVRN, but mainly Andy. Take care!

It is nearing the end of January, with that brings a new month and new updates!
For those of you who haven't been paying attention to our bulletins, we are currently working on finishing and tuning up the rest of our set. We have two songs completely down and a third in the works, we should be up and running by mid to late February. At which time we will then be hitting up Crucial Studios in Missisauga with Jay O'Young (Eating Glass, Liferuiner and other local Ontario bands) for a three song demo that we can put up so you can all hear how we're sounding. The demo will feature a very special guest vocalist that has yet to be announced, but it's big news so stay tuned.
After the demo is released, the shows begin, we'll be playing as many shows as possible within our schedules and will hopefully be hitting up most of the larger area cities in Ontario as soon as possible.
We hope you're as stoked as us! See you all soon.
